A Concise Collection of Useful Stories and Expressions for Poetic Logic A Concise Collection of Useful Stories and Expressions for Poetic Logic A concise collection of useful stories for poetic logic and a brief explanation of terms. Namo Sarasvatye. Homage to Sarasvati) Homage to the Goddess of Speech! For the needs of poets, a few stories are summarized in verses. In ancient times, gods and demigods churned the ocean using the Naga king Norgye (藏文:ཀླུ་རྒྱལ་ནོར་རྒྱས།) as the churning rope and Mount Meru as the churning stick, which resulted in the emergence of the sun and moon. The moon was taken by Ishvara (Shiva) as an ornament. Then, the goddess Shri (Lakshmi) appeared, and she was taken by Vishnu. After that, a pot of poison emerged, which Ishvara placed in his throat, turning his throat blue. Then, a pot of nectar appeared, and the gods heard it and said "Sura," meaning containing essence. The demigods did not hear it and were called "Asura," meaning non-gods, without essence. Thus, the gods and demigods were separated. The gods' offerings in the sky are known as "Yakshas" (藏文:གནོད་སྦྱིན་). The gods' musicians are called "Gandharvas" (藏文:དྲི་ཟ།), meaning those who dispel bad sounds. Secret places are guarded by treasure deities. The demigods reside on the summit of Mount Meru, while the gods' abodes are scattered at the base. The teacher of the demigods is Pasang (藏文:པ་སང་). From within the golden egg, Brahma was born, and he created the other gods. The great Brahma is the lord of the three thousand worlds, while the lesser one is the master of common offerings. Brahma created a daughter named "Thigle Chok" (藏文:ཐིག་ལེ་མཆོག), and then he fell in love with her himself. Wanting to see where she went, Brahma manifested five heads. Ishvara cut off Brahma's top head with his fingernail. From then on, Brahma became known as the four-faced Brahma. Vishnu manifested as a dwarf. The Asura Nosten Lam (藏文:ནོ་སྟོབས་ལྡན་ལམ།) requested land for performing a fire offering. The dwarf said, "Give me a step's worth of land." With one step, he spanned from the summit of Mount Meru to the bottom of the ocean. One step caused the Asuras to flee. Because they fled in fear and were killed, Vishnu became known as the "Subduer of the Three Realms." The great Ishvara is named "Deser" (藏文:ཏེ་སེ།), and the lesser Ishvara is named "Jangshar Wangden" (藏文:བྱང་ཤར་དབང་ལྡན།). The great Ishvara Desena (藏文:ཏེ་སེ་ན།) worships and practices asceticism in the lower realms. The gods became suspicious and said, "Is it true that he is practicing asceticism together with Ghori (藏文:གྷོ་རི) ?" So they sent Kama (the god of desire), and Kama shot five arrows. The first and second caused suffering, the third and fourth caused desire, and the fifth caused Ghori to fall in love. Ishvara regretted it and didn't know what to do. Kama, the god of desire, used

It is done. The three-eyed one burns the desire god with fire, dwells in the heart of the bodiless one, therefore the demon is called bodiless. Once upon a time, the queen of the king was, the reconciling mother and the auspicious mother. The reconciling mother said the sun's horse, the white one sits, the auspicious mother said, the sun's horse is black. A bet was made to see who was right, the queen was established, and the one who was not right was sentenced to be a servant. The auspicious mother was sentenced to worship and make a verbal guarantee to a dragon. After that, when the dragon was asked about the matter, the sun's horse was said to be black. The taming mother was miserable as a servant. A sage gave three eggs, saying that if you take them, they will change, but do not look at them for seven days. Desiring speed, when three days had passed, one broke and became lightning in the sky. On the sixth day, one broke and was called Karma Sharang. On the seventh day, a garuda bird was born from one. He prostrated to his mother and said, Mother, whatever you need, I will do. She said to make the dragons disappear, and then the garuda ate the dragons. Therefore, the garuda was born to tame dragons. One egg of the bird Tri-ta was washed into the sea by the waves. That bird wanted to drink the sea dry, so it put its wings into the water and took them out. When a sage saw this, he said the words that animals have little power. A garuda heard this and became angry, stretched out one wing to cover the sea, and raised one wing to the sky, waiting for the dragon, prostrating and offering the egg. The gods were very frightened, and the pervading one, a thin sage, transformed and went to the garuda. The garuda also felt compassion for him. The sage said that I have an important thing to do, but this body cannot do it, please help the garuda to do it. The garuda agreed and even said, you take me as a vehicle. After that, the pervading one rode on it. Therefore, the pervading one is called a wooden chariot. Once upon a time, the goddess Ganga, because her son was born, Uma wanted to see him, but said he had no head and did not want to show him. Uma was angry and made the wish that he would be headless, and he became headless. After that, she prayed to Uma again, and the head appeared in the north and was found. She said to cut off the head and attach it, and found the corpse of an elephant and attached the head. Uma's son Smin-drug and, Zapa broke the pendant of Yala, angrily
