The smoke from burning rotten corpses fills the sky. The blood of lepers pools into an ocean. The flesh of lepers spreads across the land. The bones of lepers pile up into great dunes. Red blood hearths are lit. White milk hearths are lit. Purple tea hearths are lit. Blue water hearths are lit. The blood of lepers and nine kinds of foul blood fill the seas and springs. Here, establish the black army camp of the Wrathful Mother. Gather the armies of the Wisdom Wrathful Ones. Draw in the great army of the Garuda. Rain down showers of hail. You gods, demons, and local deities of existence and non-existence, utterly destroy them from the root. Extract them from the core. I am happy alive and joyful in death. Heads can be discarded. Whenever I die, I become a Buddha. I am happy alive, purifying obscurations. I am happy in death, attaining Buddhahood. Transform this body, flesh, and blood into food. Blend this empty mind with the expanse of awareness. I die, you fall. Entrust the great and fierce ones to the border. Entrust you gods and demons to servitude. If you do not do so, wait, Nara Kana. Oh! Do not allow me to do such deeds. I will not answer. Do not accumulate great faults for small matters. Do not send hail upon these fields that I protect. I entrust all you gods, demons, and local deities to protect them. Especially this place, each of your local deities, entrust them to protect. Again, entrust the local deities of each field to protect. Please protect them thoroughly, Samaya. Let's see what power and abilities you have. Because giving life to insects, giving fearlessness to the lords of the fields, giving material goods to people, giving Dharma to you gods and demons. With this root of virtue, may all you gods and demons attain enlightenment.

In order to attain, I shall amplify with dedication and aspiration. Having said this, all the gods and demons rejoiced and returned to their respective abodes, blowing the leg-bone trumpet, making the sound "Vajra Muh Phat Phat Phat." Then, meditating on the protective circle: Phat! The Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha, with a golden body, makes the earth-touching mudra and the meditative mudra with his two hands, sits in the vajra posture with his two feet, complete with marks and signs on his body, wearing the three Dharma robes, seated on a lion throne lotus moon cushion, sparks of fire radiating from his body. In his heart, on top of the lotus moon, is a golden stupa, inside the vase, the sun below and the moon above, inside the combined sun and moon gau box, in the vast and spacious interior, all the fields to be protected are contained. Phat Phat Phat! Above the sun and moon, the lamas, yidams, and dakinis gather like clouds, praying to protect from the harm of hail. Phat Phat Phat! Then, breaking up the hail clouds: Phat! On the crown of one's own wrathful deity, is a red garuda, as large as Mount Meru, looking at the black clouds with great wrath, swallowing the hail, the hail lord, and the clouds in one gulp and chewing them. Discharging the bird droppings to the other side of the ocean, turning gray and blurry. Phat Phat Phat! If lightning occurs, destroying the hailstones: Phat! From the heart of one's own wrathful deity, nine-pointed golden vajras radiate, striking the center of the black clouds, throwing the lightning, hailstones, lightning lord, and the blacksmiths and blacksmith families to the other side of the ocean. Phat Phat Phat! After saying this, make the threatening mudra and blow. Also, visualize the lightning. Phat! In the sky above one's head, there is a golden wheel with a thousand spokes, in the center of the wheel is the Victorious Shakyamuni Buddha, and on the thousand spokes are the thousand Buddhas of the Fortunate Aeon. The soles of one's two feet press down on the turquoise belly. Phat Phat Phat! This visualization is sufficient. Du ga dza mun ti ah. This mantra, when recited seven or twenty-one times in important moments, is certain to be able to stop it. Om gha hu ra hu pā he ja la dha thā. Write this mantra on a leg-bone trumpet, tie it on, and blow it, and there will be no lightning. Also, if a hail pillar is erected, break the hail pillar: Phat!
