Mahamudra Oral Instructions. Mahamudra Oral Instructions. Namo Guru Padma Siddhi Hum! Padma Sambhava, the essence of all Buddhas. To the Dharmakaya, the indivisible Lama and one's own mind. I pray, grant the realization of the meaning of compassion. The essence of one's own mind is the complete Dharmakaya. The nature of mind is self-illuminating, the complete Sambhogakaya. The appearance of mind is unceasing, the Nirmanakaya. The Lama's three bodies are complete in one's own mind. Whatever arises, leave it uncorrected, relax and loosen it. Without being distracted, just maintain mindfulness. If there is nothing to meditate on, that is the best meditation. By the power of whatever merit has been accumulated in the three times, may this life be long, healthy, and may experience and realization increase. In the next life, may I be born miraculously in the Sukhavati pure land, and may I never be separated from Dharmakaya Amitabha. These two ways of looking, the first is like this, but now don't do it that way. When looking at whatever arises in the mind, when emptiness vanishes and there is a momentary empty stillness, one thinks that is meditation. And when something arises again, one looks at its essence, doing it that way is called "connecting mind to mind," but that is not meditation. Don't think that you have to look at the mind and become tense. It is fine whether the mind stays, moves, is clear, or unclear. It is enough to just maintain mindfulness. Don't have any liking or disliking, or doubts about it. That is the uncorrected mind. That is Mahamudra. The meaning of that is that the mind itself is primordially wisdom. If you don't recognize that, it is ignorance. If you recognize it, it is wisdom. If you don't recognize movement, it is conceptual thought. If you recognize it, it is Dharmakaya. Recognizing that is enough. No need for self-pacification or self-liberation. There is not much difference except for whether there is mindfulness or not. If wisdom arises, that is enough. While not separated from mindfulness, whatever you do, whether it is deity meditation, recitation, etc., is meditation. Not needing mindfulness is not the way to have no meditation. Except for mindfulness, relax the body, speech, and mind as much as possible. The most relaxed is called the best meditation. If there are many movements, that means there is much wisdom, so don't be unhappy, meditate on happiness. Let whatever arises arise, no need to grasp, leave it in its natural state. If you forget in between, don't regret it. From that point on, hold it with the glue of mindfulness. There is nothing to meditate on, as the Victorious Maitreya said: The meaning of this

Appearances are unreal, it is held that the master is mindfulness, so it is said. As for when and where to practice calm abiding and insight, observing the nature of calm abiding, seeing emptiness is insight. Whatever movement arises, recognize it, observe its nature, seeing emptiness, from the movement arises insight, these were like that when first recognized, but now it is not needed, it is not necessary to recognize the place and movement. Subtle movements also do not need to be recognized. Also, there is no need to stare intently at the nature of the mind. Saying "leave the mind without alteration" is a mistake in understanding. What is without alteration? It is ordinary consciousness. What is ordinary consciousness? It is that whenever one remembers, thinking of looking at the mind, do not forget the mindfulness guardian, besides that, there is nothing to practice. Like naturally being silent, dwelling in distraction. Although it is not true distraction, but the mindfulness guardian guarding the mind should not be forgotten, this is Mahamudra. This is without alteration. This is ordinary consciousness. The mind itself is Dharmakaya, so it is enough to guard it without forgetting. Do not desire good, nor suspect bad, let go of everything, except for the non-distracted mindfulness, without clinging to anything, relax as much as possible, and it will grow faster. Whatever bliss or clarity arises, do not cling to it. Do not deceive yourself. Therefore, ordinary consciousness and the non-distracted nature are practice, there is nothing else besides that. Even if there is slight distraction in between, it does not matter. There is nothing to practice in the mind. In a state of not clinging to anything, relax as much as possible. From time to time, repeatedly remind the mindfulness guardian. When there is no dullness, focus on practicing the object. When distracted, in a non-distracted state, to what extent can one practice the object? The key to that is that practicing the object is movement. Movement is conceptual thought. Conceptual thought is originally Dharmakaya, the nature of conceptual thought arising and ceasing is emptiness. Recognizing this is enough. Whenever you can practice Guru Yoga, you don't need session breaks. From now on. Because the mind is Dharmakaya Mahamudra, you must make a firm decision. Make a firm decision that recognizing this is enough. For that which has nothing to practice, relying only on the non-distracted mindfulness guardian, this is Mahamudra, you must make a firm decision. Whatever good or bad arises in the mind, it does not matter,
