不尽己能利益他人啊！如果能将六道众生安乐处，我纵然永居地狱也甘愿。我不修自他交换之禅定啊！赞美诋毁之声皆如山谷回音。别人说什么我不倾听。我不以自心为凭证，过高的期望大多是轮回之因。皈依不欺之三宝，父亲莲花生，观世音。除了这些，对于所有黑头人，今生来世的希望都断绝了吧！于此五浊恶世之末，步入佛法之路者如白日星辰。即便如此，也要在心中生根发芽，直至死也无憾。无论业力如何降临也不退缩。当下供养众生的利益，即使不视作他人的佛法，也要从自心生起和清净的发心中，不做一件将佛法当作佛法的事情。即使拥有灌顶、教诫、口传和深奥的诀窍，对于那些真心渴望佛法的有缘者，我也会毫无保留地传授。对于那些贪恋财物且被财物所束缚的人，即使身体无法行动，无法行善，一旦与此身分离，我也不会立即往生西方极乐净土。据说聂奥（Gnya’og）地方有人去世，听到一些同乡的口音，感到悲伤，得知情况后，写下了这篇《自心铁钉》。萨瓦芒嘎拉姆（藏文，梵文天城体：सर्व मङ्गलम्，梵文罗马拟音：sarva maṅgalam，汉语字面意思：一切吉祥！）。以此经卷的建造、持有和读诵之功德，愿我和我的兄弟眷属，以及提供生活资助的施主们，今生吉祥长寿，幸福圆满，一旦从此世离去，便能往生极乐世界。这是阿惹嘎所说。康区上部囊谦（Nangchen，今青海玉树囊谦县）昂桑（'Bang-sang）工艺文化显密佛法兴盛洲古籍修复室整理出版。《自心铁钉》如是说。

I won't fail to benefit others as much as I can! If I can place the six realms of beings in happiness, I would endure even if I were to dwell in hell forever. I won't meditate on the Tonglen practice! All sounds of praise and blame are like echoes in a valley. I won't listen to what others say. I won't set my own mind as a witness, as most high expectations are the cause of samsara. Refuge in the Three Jewels that never deceive, Father Padmasambhava, Avalokiteśvara. Apart from these, for all black-headed people, may all hopes for this life and the next be cut off! In this last of the five degenerate ages, those who walk the path of Dharma are like stars in the daytime. Even so, generate roots in your heart, so that you have no regrets when you die. No matter what karma befalls, do not shrink back. Even if the immediate offering of benefit to beings is not seen as someone else's Dharma, from the arising of one's own mind and pure intention, do not do a single thing that treats Dharma as just Dharma. Even with empowerment, precepts, oral transmissions, and profound instructions, to those fortunate ones who sincerely desire the Dharma, I will impart them without reservation. For those who are attached to wealth and bound by wealth, even if the body cannot move and cannot do good deeds, as soon as I separate from this body, I will not immediately go to the Western Pure Land of Bliss. It is said that someone died in Gnya'og, and upon hearing some accents of fellow villagers, I felt sad and, understanding the situation, wrote this 'Iron Peg of My Own Mind.' Sarva Mangalam (藏文，梵文天城体：सर्व मङ्गलम्，梵文罗马拟音：sarva mangalam，汉语字面意思：All auspiciousness!). By the merit of constructing, holding, and reading this scripture, may I and my brothers and sisters, along with the patrons who provide for our livelihood, have auspicious long lives and perfect happiness in this life, and as soon as we pass away from this world, may we be reborn in the Land of Bliss. This was said by A-ra-ga. Compiled and published by the Ancient Book Restoration Room of 'Bang-sang Craft Culture, Exoteric and Esoteric Dharma Flourishing Isle, Nangchen (present-day Nangchen County, Yushu, Qinghai) in Upper Kham.
