By the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, may all the harmful demons and obstructors of children be gathered here in an instant! Jaḥ hūṃ vaṃ hoḥ! Homage to the Sugatas, rich in jewels, beautiful in form, boundless, fearless, and free from all fear! Those who harm this child, the small demon, the child thief, the rapacious mother and children, Jambapo and the withering beast king, the forgetful mother, Dzami Fist, the lustful Namdru, the fierce, displeasing one, the bird and the neck-handed, adorned with dangling eyes, thus, those fifteen great demons, may they be satisfied with the faculties, objects, and elements. This ransom and substitute, in various forms, may it repay the child's life ransom, life circumstances, and debt. May each attain stainless happiness as they desire! With the mantra of Kha'barma, Oṃ are mati tute hūṃ phaṭ! Dedicate by reciting seven times. Be pleased, satisfied, joyful, agreeable, abandon harmful thoughts. Do not transgress the command of the Sugata Victorious Ones, do not break the oath. Do not create obstacles, life debts, or demonic influences for the child. Take this desirable ransom and torma, and return to your respective places! If you do not leave and remain, you will be reduced to dust. Therefore, secure your own life, seize your own place, and depart. Hereafter, do not cause harm in this circle! Oṃ sumbhani, etc. Send the year demon away. Hūṃ! From the heart of the deity, rays of light emanate. Wrathful ones, wrathful mothers, small wrathful ones, hand implements, letters, rainbows, fire masses, and tent dwellings are densely packed. Protect all above, below, in all directions, and in between. Oṃ vajra ratna padma karma chakra jvala raksha hūṃ hūṃ! Then, tie the life knot around the neck. Hūṃ! The compassion of the Vidyādhara Amitāyus, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the sages and wisdom holders, the gurus, yidams, and ḍākinīs.
