May each of you obtain vast enjoyment according to your own mind, may karmic debts be repaid, may debts be cleared. Seizing the spirits of the dead, harming the living, do not be living demons, dead iron, please abide with a loving heart! I offer this decorated item! May you be satisfied by just the offering! May the suffering of hunger and thirst be pacified! All phenomena arise from causes. The Tathagata has spoken of that cause. And the cessation that arises from cause. This is what the great ascetic taught. Do not commit any evil deeds, fully practice all virtues, subdue your own mind, this is the teaching of the Buddha. Taking yourself as an example, do not harm others. Your own actions bring your own sins. Fire may turn cold, wind may be caught by a rope, the sun and moon may fall to the ground, but the words of the Victorious One cannot be false. Therefore, listen to the words of truth.
