Then put the Torma into the demon-expelling Torma, put in salt, mustard, and dregs, and sprinkle it. Then recite the demon-expelling Torma according to the ritual. By doing this, one can dispel and subdue the flesh-eating ghosts. These are based on the oral traditions of the old mantra practitioners of the past, recalling the rigorous and profound meaning of the recited words. Some deceased old mantra practitioners and newly promoted young mantra practitioners said, "We need a drum that doesn't drop its drumstick," and it came from a distant place, so it is taken very seriously. There are many tattered books left by our fathers, but none of them are complete. Therefore, this demon-expelling Torma, which includes preparation, main practice, and conclusion, and is easy to practice, is for many newly promoted young mantra practitioners in the future, so that they will not be easily deceived. In order to pacify the hunger and thirst of the hungry ghosts, gandharvas, flesh-eating ghosts, and other evil spirits, and to eliminate their harmful intentions, and in order to pacify the diseases and disasters of the many beings of the upper, middle, and lower classes, and to obtain happiness, motivated by altruistic Bodhicitta, this old mantra practitioner, who has been accustomed to this since childhood, was written by the monk named Ra ga A sya.
