The three whites, three sweets, grains, Naga medicine, golden beverage, essence of herbs, food offering mixed with nectar. Naga food adorned, decorated with five-colored silk. Various Naga tree materials gathered and blessed. Emaho! Myself and all sentient beings, with the Nagas as foremost. Take refuge in the unsurpassed Three Jewels. In these places and regions of my land. Rain has not fallen, all crops have withered. Insects and creatures experience the suffering of the hot hells. In order to dispel the fear of famine for all beings. For the benefit of beings, may rain be brought forth. Visualize oneself as the body of the noble Great Compassionate One. White and clear, one face, peaceful smile, with a topknot. Adorned with silk and precious jewels, seated comfortably. The right hand bestows blessings, raining nectar medicine. The left hand holds the stem of a white lotus at the heart. Clearly visualize the state of being primordially pure and non-dual. From the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Meaning: Hum) at the heart, rays of loving-kindness radiate. The assembly of Nagas, both worldly and beyond. The gods, demons, and local deities who have power over rain. May they fill the sky and earth and partake. From the state of emptiness, the elements arise in successive layers. From the essence of the elements, various Naga trees are born. The smoke from burning fills the sky with nectar. The net of incense clouds pervades all Buddha lands. To that, auspicious substances, auspicious symbols, the seven precious jewels. May desired enjoyments fall like a stream of rain. May nectar Naga medicine thicken like mist. May it become an inexhaustible treasure of the sky. Heroes and heroines born from the Naga race, great clouds dwelling in and controlling the clouds, to the countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Ganges sands, purify with white offerings, grain medicines, fragrant incense, and smoke. Please cause the clouds of compassion and the rain to descend. The eight great treasure owners, the retinue of Vaishravana, who have power over the inexhaustible treasure of accomplishments, the five Jambhala families, the goddess Vasudhara, the hundred thousand crore hosts of Yakshas, before the lords of the assembly, offer burnt offerings of various grains, foods, flour, and butter. Please bestow the great treasure of the rain of accomplishments. Alas! The great ocean and the seven great pleasure lakes, from the source of rivers and great rivers, for the sake of enjoying inexhaustible rain, the great Naga king with a jewel on his crown, the upper body is a human body with marks, the lower body is a snake's tail moving in the ocean, the seven snake heads are adorned with crests, the two hands are clasped together, and from the nectar vase, an inexhaustible stream of rain descends. Surrounded by a multitude of Naga hosts, in order to bestow the rain of accomplishments, please come to this place. In particular, offer the items needed by the Nagas, as well as the three white substances, the three sweet substances, nectar, and Naga medicine. Purify with various grains, fragrant scents, silk, and incense. May an inexhaustible stream of rain quickly fall in this land, region, and kingdom. From the palace of the sacred lake of Deva Kota, amidst the frogs, snakes, and aquatic creatures playing and floating, the local deity, treasure guardian, and virtuous friend, the mad-mouthed one, the upper body is human, the lower body is coiled as a snake, the head, body, and eyes have the crests of a snake, from the gaps in the crests, a continuous rain falls. Holding a vase of inexhaustible treasure of accomplishments, from the mouth of the vase, a medicinal rain falls. May hundreds of thousands of emanations of Naga gods, Naga demons, and Naga spirits, be invited to come to this place to summon rain. Offer the mind-created auspicious objects, symbols, and seven precious jewels, horses, cattle, goats, sheep, and aquatic objects. Offer many white tormas, tea, and alcohol as burnt offerings.
