The *tar* (food offering) should be erected. First, arrange the offerings, then sprinkle them with incense, fragrant smoke, and water. Offer strong alcohol, sprinkle it, and do not shake it. Visualize yourself as the Yidam deity, and from your heart center, emanate the syllables (Tibetan: རཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ram, Sanskrit Romanization: ram, Literal meaning: ram), (Tibetan: ཡཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: yam, Sanskrit Romanization: yam, Literal meaning: yam), (Tibetan: ཁཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: kham, Sanskrit Romanization: kham, Literal meaning: kham), which transform into the three elements of fire, water, and wind. Burn, scatter, and cleanse with them, then contemplate emptiness. The *tar* container is the mandala of the four activities, with iron fences in layers, the outer and inner being similar in four ways. Inside, everything is adorned like stars. In the center, there are wind, fire, and a skull cup, as usual. On top of that, contemplate (Tibetan: བྷན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: bham, Sanskrit Romanization: bham, Literal meaning: bham) emptiness, the three united as one. Inside, there are the five meats and the five wisdom nectars. Below that is the lower part of the *tar*, along with the *tar* container. At the waist of the *tar*, visualize the palace of the Dharma protectors. At the top, visualize the lamas and Yidams densely like clouds. If they are peaceful Dharma protectors, wealth deities, etc., then do not contemplate wind, fire, skull cup, and (Tibetan: བྷན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: bham, Sanskrit Romanization: bham, Literal meaning: bham), but contemplate being filled with various jewels and nectar. As in the *tar* ritual, invite and absorb the Dharma protectors. From the skull cup or the precious vessel, nectar flows out, filling the four mandalas of the four activities completely with nectar. The vapor of the nectar transforms into immeasurable offerings, the eight auspicious symbols, the seven precious jewels, and the sixteen offering goddesses, densely like clouds. In the peaceful mandala, offer the three white substances; in the increasing mandala, offer various jewels; in the subjugating mandala, offer various silks; in the wrathful mandala, offer the flesh and blood of enemies and obstacles, etc. Offer the essence, vapor, ransom, earth, substances for accomplishment, and objects of support, endlessly and immeasurably emanating and gathering, pleasing the Dharma protectors and their retinue. Just as children and youths are absorbed in play, or as those with desire are attached to wealth, may they always rejoice, surround, and abide here. Contemplate the cool groves and other places of residence as being inseparable from the *tar* itself, of one taste. Always do not depart, do not withdraw, leave it like that. Between two and three weeks, offer one portion each time. Devote your mind to the *tar*, and recite thousands of mantras each time. This is the order of reciting while relying on the *tar*. Afterwards, at the time of the nine offerings, also integrate it into that. On auspicious days and at auspicious times, offer and sprinkle water. Usually, hide it so that people cannot see it. A half-moon vajra drawn on paper or carved on wood, and a protection cord, tied with wool, silk, or clean cotton, blessed with the root mantra and the heart mantra, for myself and my disciples,

守护马匹牲畜寺庙等,诵念“ra ksha ra ksha sva ha(藏文:རཀྵ་རཀྵ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:रक्षा रक्ष स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:raksha raksha svāhā,汉语字面意思:守护守护梭哈)”咒语,以百字明咒加持,系于护身朵玛之上。

Protect horses, livestock, monasteries, etc., and recite the mantra "raksha raksha svāhā(藏文:རཀྵ་རཀྵ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:रक्षा रक्ष स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:raksha raksha svāhā,literal meaning: protect protect svāhā)". Bless it with the Hundred Syllable Mantra and attach it to the protective torma. This is an excellent method for protecting the people and livestock of the community, especially the secret instruction for the field-protecting torma, which is the mantra of the Lion-Faced Dakini, the father and mother deities, and the male and female corpses. Add the mantra of the Eight Classes of gods and demons at the end, without mixing them up. Write "ka cha", offerings, etc., and at the end of the name, write the field-protecting father and mother deities. Entrust and deliver it, and protect it so that it cannot be transferred. Write "rā ga ra ti protect wealth" on a rolled-up piece of paper and attach it to the torma. This is said to be the best method for protecting wealth. If someone takes it, it is said that no punishment is necessary. If it is damaged, it cannot be replaced except for replacement. If an enemy arises who endangers the Dharma, it is said that it can be thrown as a weapon and will take effect immediately. With the firm pride of your own yidam, visualize the deity being thrown together with its seat, and you will surely be able to destroy the enemy into ashes. If your ability is insufficient, there is a great danger of backlash. Issue the command, or raise the deity into the sky, and it will go with a roar like a hailstorm cloud. Visualize the torma as flames and weapons, and then throw it, so that there is no danger of backlash. After replacing or throwing the protective torma, it is best to complete it on the same day. If it is not completed, do not delay for too long and restore it to its original state as soon as possible. If you do not live there and need to leave, then empower the torma and perform an auspicious farewell ceremony. Carry the paint, mantra paper roll, and tsakali, etc., of the torma yourself. Eat a little of the remaining torma and offer the rest as a burnt offering and give it away. Then, as before, restore it to its original state in the place where you always stay. In this way, practice the life-sustaining protective torma, and the Dharma-sustaining protective torma will exist as long as the Dharma exists. The permanent torma, the long-term torma, and the upper torma have the same meaning, and are the long-term torma that is replaced once a year. If it is a ritual, it is until the ritual is completed. Everyone knows the various rituals and the number of deities. Visualize each of the deities on the top of the torma. Because it is offered regularly, it is called a permanent torma. Such a condensed one is offered every night. The one that is collected on the same night is the daily torma. Because it is impossible to offer the long-term torma regularly, offering the permanent torma regularly is the daily torma. The so-called pledge torma is the torma that is held as a pledge, and it is a very special one among the torma nagas.
