Concise Prayer to the King Concise Prayer to the King Herein lies the Concise Prayer to the King. Offer one red torma, along with many tinglos and mtheb-skyus, sprinkled with the first brew of alcohol, which is sufficient. Hūṃ. Emanation of Amitābha, the protector, the deathless body, arising in wrathful form, the friend who subdues gods and demons. Possessing the demeanor of nine dances, the glorious great wrathful king, may I clearly visualize myself as the body of Guru Drakpo. Hūṃ. The mind of the supreme horse, from the very essence of Dharma, to protect the teachings, emanating in wrathful form. Life-force master, the light-born youth, together with his retinue, from the azure sky and the monastic Dharma wheel, from all directions, come here and sit upon the seat. Please accept this harmonious substance, the torma of desirable qualities, and may you lovingly protect us, the patrons, the offerings, people, wealth, and retinue, without exceeding, without transgressing, without turning back, without harming, and without displaying illusory magic. Hūṃ. The great king, White Bha-har, with a smiling, beautiful, and majestic countenance, wearing a felt hat on his head and Dharma robes on his body. His right hand holds the staff and bell, the life-force of the teachings, and his left hand holds a begging bowl filled with jewels and food, along with utpala flowers, crystal palaces, and strings of jewels. Accompanied by inner and outer ministers, consorts, and attendants, each with hundreds and thousands of retinues. All the eight classes of beings and their retinues, please accept this harmonious substance, the torma of desirable qualities, and may you lovingly protect us, the patrons, the offerings, people, wealth, and retinue, without exceeding, without transgressing, without turning back, without harming, and without displaying illusory magic, and move elsewhere. The king of the body, Putra, with a black complexion, holding a curved knife and a demon lasso, riding a black mule, wearing a Mongolian felt hat, and leading a black bear. Rakshasa Ekajati, with bloodshot eyes, a blue complexion, flames blazing from her mouth, holding a curved knife and intestines, naked, wearing a bone necklace and a garland of human heads. Emanation of a monk, an arhat youth, wearing crimson Dharma robes, holding a staff and a begging bowl, riding a strong mule, a monk's mount. His secret name is known as Vajra King. Minister Shanpa Jyakri Migchik, with a black snake wrapped around his head, riding a blue horse with a black back, holding a plow and raising a vajra. The life-force master of the east, the great Vajrabhairava, the king and minister of the body, emanations of father, mother, and retinue.
