In the great prophecy of Orgyen, it is said: In evil times, people engage in various non-virtuous deeds, and due to these faults, the Mamos and Dakinis become disturbed. The breath from their mouths condenses in the sky into blue-red clouds of disease, and various epidemics and plagues fall like rain. At that time, for the benefit of future beings, from the text of the Namchö Tukyi Terkha, the ritual of the goddess for eliminating epidemics was taught. However, it is difficult to gather the necessary torma offerings and other items, and there is no time for sudden recitations. To protect against the coming of epidemics, or in case of a sudden outbreak, methods for healing and curing are needed. Arrange a clean red torma in front, as much as possible. Surround one large main torma with fourteen smaller ones.
