而且，《吉祥日轮经》中说：如果未使上师欢喜，如果未获得灌顶，那么进行修持等，将会徒劳无果。等等，经中广为宣说。第二，获得灌顶的利益是：在《灌顶王续》中，导师普贤王如来说道：这些功德是对眷属们宣说的。灌顶的利益，将如实宣说。转法轮，也要在灌顶之后才转。宣说修法的坛城，也要在灌顶之后才修。修持秘密的坛城，也要在灌顶之后才修。一切事业的行持，也要在灌顶之后才能产生。即使获得了灌顶，无论做什么事业都会成功。灌顶的功德是，对于一切佛和众生，可以随心所欲地进行灌顶。空行母等如同仆人般环绕。寿命和受用圆满具足。此世间的功德，也变得不可思议。即使注定要堕入地狱，凭借灌顶的功德，也永远不会堕入地狱，完全舍弃三恶趣，能够成就无上果位。即使注定寿命耗尽而死亡，如果再三进行此灌顶，就能逆转寿命耗尽的死亡，获得无量寿命。此外，寿命的功德，也多得无法述说。超越世间的功德是，从持明三尊以下，直到普贤王如来的所有密意，所有佛的功德，用心思索，自然成就。也在法界中成佛。如是说。在《秘密藏》中说：如果灌顶真实且具布施，那么生生世世都会被灌顶。因此，八世之中，即使不修也能获得成就。如是说。在《空行海》中说：所有佛的智慧，将从灌顶中如实了知。殊胜灌顶的智慧，是成为果位的道。如是说。在《金刚鬘》中说：最初，当任何弟子，即使是对有智慧的人进行灌顶时，圆满次第的瑜伽士，在那时就成为了法器。

Moreover, in the Sutra of the Glorious Wheel of the Sun, it says: If the Lama is not pleased, and if the empowerments are not obtained, then performing practices and so on, will be fruitless and wasted. Thus, it is extensively taught. Second, the benefits of obtaining empowerment are: In the Tantra of the King of Empowerment, the teacher Samantabhadra said: These qualities are spoken to the retinue. The benefits of empowerment will be truly explained. Turning the wheel of Dharma, too, should be done after empowerment. The mandala in which practice is taught, too, should be practiced after empowerment. The mandala of secret practice, too, should be practiced after empowerment. All activities of action, too, arise after empowerment. Even after receiving empowerment, whatever task is undertaken will be accomplished. The qualities of empowerment are: To all Buddhas and sentient beings, one can freely bestow empowerment as desired. Matri and Dakinis surround one like servants. Life and prosperity are perfectly complete. The qualities of this world, too, become inconceivable. Even if one is destined to be born in hell, by the virtue of empowerment, one will never fall into hell, completely abandoning the three lower realms, and one will be able to achieve the unsurpassed fruit. Even if one is destined to die when life is exhausted, if this empowerment is repeatedly bestowed, one can reverse the exhaustion of life and death, and obtain immeasurable lifespan. Furthermore, the qualities of life, too, are obtained beyond description. The qualities beyond this world are: From the three Vidyadharas downwards, all the intentions of Samantabhadra, all the qualities of the Buddhas, are all accomplished spontaneously by thinking with the mind. One also becomes a Buddha in the Dharmadhatu. Thus it is said. In the Secret Treasury, it says: If empowerment is truly endowed with generosity, then one will be empowered in life after life. Therefore, in eight lifetimes, one will attain accomplishment even without practice. Thus it is said. In the Ocean of Dakinis, it says: The wisdom of all Buddhas will be truly known from empowerment. The wisdom of supreme empowerment is the path to fruition. Thus it is said. In the Vajra Garland, it says: Initially, when any disciple, even one who is intelligent, is empowered, the yogi of the completion stage becomes a vessel at that time.
