It is said that it was just like that. During the time of Trisong Detsen, the pandita Śāntarakṣita and the translator Kawa Peltseg and others of the seven awakened ones translated many scriptures. Later, during the time of Tri Ral, Ma Rinchen Chok revised these translations with new terminology and finalized them, and most of the Tantras were preserved there. Later, many translations by translators and translations by Jam Ral and others also appeared. The great commentary on the Śuddhitantra, a text of twelve thousand verses, was composed by the teacher Kunga Nyingpo, but it was not translated into Tibetan. The Kunrig Mandala Ritual composed by Yeshe Ö, and the Kunrig Mandala Ritual composed by the teacher Kunga Nyingpo, but some say it was composed by Jowo Smriti. The Peaceful Homa composed by Chakme Gyalpo, and the Supreme Great Empowerment Ritual composed by Śāntarakṣita, the Sadhana Samuccaya composed by Kunga Nyingpo was translated by Sthiti, and the Flesh Homa composed by Kunga Nyingpo. In addition, many authoritative Indian treatises such as those composed by Dharmakīrti and those composed by Kelsang Gawa were translated into Tibetan. The commentary on the Śuddhitantra is actually an Indian commentary, but some consider it to be a Tibetan commentary, such as A work without an author's name called "Explanation of Glory." There is also a work called "Ornament of Beauty," which is said to be composed by a wandering translator, but some say it was composed by Kunga Nyingpo. Similarly, the work called "Ornament of Light," some say it was composed by Kunga Nyingpo, but others say it was composed by Lhase Lichung. Others say it was composed by Zangkar. These four great commentaries, although the Sakya school considers them to be somewhat inaccurate, Je Tsongkhapa considered them to be reliable. The "Clear Lamp," which is said to be composed by Kunga Nyingpo, and that composed by Rangzom Chosang, and the work called "Explanation of Words," are all old commentaries. Later, many lamas of various schools, such as Mikyö Zhap, each made their own commentaries. Furthermore, during the early propagation of Buddhism, notes were taken on the secret teachings of the Buddha, and there also arose the tradition of following what was called the "Old Explanation of Words." During the later propagation of Buddhism, in Ngari, during the reign of the Tibetan Dharma King's descendants Lha Lama Yeshe Ö and Jangchub Ö, some mantra practitioners claimed to be mantra practitioners and behaved immodestly, so the king lost faith in mantras. Therefore, he sent twenty-one boys to Kashmir to study translation, and gave them a lot of gold.

Having sent them to investigate the mantras, everyone except Lotsāwa Rinchen Zangpo and Lochung Lekpai Sherab died of fever. Lotsāwa, having heard from Paṇḍita Padmakaravarma and Sangye Zhiwa and others, translated many works on yoga. Paṇḍita Shadhakaravarma was invited to Tibet, and the teachings on yoga were greatly propagated. However, at that time, the Indian text of the commentary 'Appearance' written by Kunsnying could not be found, so it was based on Shakya Yeshe's 'Ornament of the Kosha'. The practice of the mandala ritual is based on Vajra Arising, and the lineage is traced back to Kunga Nyingpo. The four-faced Vairocana is placed back to back, and the purification of the water empowerment is explained, etc. Because the two traditions of Shakya Yeshe and Kunsnying are mixed, although it was Lotsāwa's prime of life, the tradition was slightly flawed, and it is called the Lower Yoga tradition that prevailed in Lower Ü-Tsang. Then, after some time, the Indian text of the commentary 'Appearance' appeared from Tsangpa in Nepal. The eastern Indian Paṇḍita Dharmapala fell ill with fever, and the doctors predicted that it would be beneficial to go to a place with snow mountains. So he went to Mount Kailash and on the way went to Ngari, where Lotsāwa Rinchen Zangpo fully requested the instructions and practices of the Kunsnying tradition. The commentary was also based on 'Appearance', and he considered Vairocana to be four-faced. This was Lotsāwa's later life, but because he retained the Kunsnying tradition, it was good, and it prevailed in the three regions of Upper Ngari, and it is called the Upper Yoga tradition. Some say that the Lower tradition is good and the Upper tradition is not good, so even the Upper tradition is called the Lower tradition. The teachings of Jowoje are known as the Nub tradition, and there are also the teachings of Rinchen Zangpo and the teachings of Manchen. These three traditions arose, and apart from slight differences in detail and minor variations in the order of the rituals, the meaning is the same. Moreover, in Tibet, the rituals of the purification tantras are mainly based on the root texts, with the tantra commentaries and methods of practice translated by Smriti as the main focus. There are two commentaries on the purification tantras: 'Ornament of Appearance' and 'Ornament of Beauty'. There is also the 'Clear Lamp', which is said to have been written by Kunsnying. In addition, there are some Indian commentaries, and
