A Concise Instruction on the Practice Wheel of the Lion-Faced Dakini. A Concise Instruction on the Practice Wheel of the Lion-Faced Dakini. A Concise Instruction on the Practice Wheel of the Lion-Faced Dakini. Herein lies the completion. Homage to the Dakini Simhamukha! This is the wheel for accomplishing all activities. On the fifteenth day, when the full moon and the royal star align, face westward. Sit in the vajra posture. The base for writing is Chinese paper or a human skin amulet. The pen is a tooth of the Lion-Faced Dakini. Visualize the letters as the body of the Lion-Faced Dakini, and write in a dark room with ink made from Kashmiri saffron, camphor, gugul, musk, great medicine, and red and white bodhicitta. Draw four concentric circles, each divided into small sections, around a central large section. Inside that, draw a square with its corners touching the inner circle. In the center of that, draw another large square as the center. In front and behind it, draw four lotus petals each. On the right, draw five connected lotus petals, and on the left, do the same. In the center, write Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ།,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) with the head facing west. Around the edge of the center, write A (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿) in the northeast, Āḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) in the northwest, Hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in the southwest, Saḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音:saḥ,汉语字面意思:萨) in the southeast, Hoḥ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音:hoḥ,汉语字面意思:吼) above, and Hūṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) below, with all the letter heads facing outwards. In the four squares on the front eastern side, write the letters clockwise, head to head: Sa Śa Da Ra. On the four lotus petals behind, write: Māraya Phaṭ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音:māraya phaṭ,汉语字面意思: मारय फट). On the three inner lotus petals on the south side, write: A Ka Sa. On the three inner lotus petals on the north side, write: Ma Ra Tsa. These six have their heads facing inwards. On the five squares on the outer south side, write: A Sa Ka Ra. On the squares on the north side, write: Tsa Da Śa Sa Ra. These ten have their letter heads facing outwards. On the four corners of the inner square, starting from the southwest and going clockwise, write: Māraya Phaṭ (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音:māraya phaṭ,汉语字面意思: मारय फट). with the heads facing inwards. On all twenty-eight squares, write Raṃ to the right of the letter and Phaṭ to the left. Between the circles and the lotus petals, draw the four continents and the twelve subcontinents with their shapes and colors. On its circle, write the fourteen-syllable root mantra twice, starting from the northeast and going clockwise. On the circle behind that, at the end of the sixteen vowels, write: "Gather, gather, seize, seize all that appears as male that comes under my power, Dza!" On the third circle, at the end of the thirty-two consonants, write: "Gather, gather, seize, seize all that appears as female that comes under my power, Dza Dza!" On the fourth circle behind that, draw vajras on the four sides, and between them, draw human heads, both dry and fresh.
