The Written Record of the Vajra Armor, the Ritual of the Lion-Faced Dakini The Written Record of the Vajra Armor, the Ritual of the Lion-Faced Dakini The Written Record of the Vajra Armor, the Ritual of the Lion-Faced Dakini, is complete. This is the sequence of outer practice and approach. Namo Guru Simhamukhaye. (Homage to the Guru Simhamukha) The Lion-Faced Goddess, the actualized one, the great Indian adept Kukkuripa, naked, whose body blazed with flames at night, incarnated in Tibet as the Red Hat Holder of the Crown, placing the Lord of Dharma on the crown of his head. This is a brief record of the Vajra Armor, the method for practicing the Lion-Faced Dakini. May the Lama Dakini grant permission and blessings. This has four stages: approach, practice, activity, and completion. First, in a clean and secluded place, offer a torma to the local spirits and give instructions. Offer the obstacle-removing torma, bless it, dispel obstacles, and meditate on the protective circle. In a copper or iron vessel, or a skull cup, the lower part of the torma is round, with three points at the top. Arrange it beautifully with white decorations and adorned with meat and alcohol. According to the text, from taking refuge onwards, meditate on realization. Your own heart is a red lotus, on the stamen of ten or fourteen petals, in the center of a sun mandala cushion, is a black Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,हुं,hūṃ,seed syllable Hūṃ) syllable standing upright. The top of the letter faces the direction of sight, which is the front of the letter, and that is in your own forward direction. Around it, starting from the front and circling to the right, arrange fourteen letters facing inward. The fourteen letters, complete with dots and stresses, radiate five colors of dark blue light, clarifying the outer form and the inner mantra. If you have not previously practiced other deities, arrange the name mantra in the mantra garland as above. Reciting that name mantra a hundred thousand times will make it gentle. The time is seven days, the number is one hundred thousand. Reciting it will soften the continuum and prevent disturbances. If not, the fourteen letters are the life mantras of the Eight Classes, so they are fierce, which may cause discomfort and disturbances in the mind. If you have practiced other deities, you do not need to do this. If you do not do this, then the mantra garland of the name mantra in the heart does not need to be placed in the heart. First, recite the mantra garland in the heart slightly in the manner of reading. Then, the letters are

Does not rotate. Like a rosary that does not rotate, but the rosary thread rotates, Five-colored rays of light rotate to the left. For example, fourteen people around a stupa, Rotating like circumambulating the Bon religion, Initially, rotating to the right with the text facing inward, Rotating to the left is very easy. Many people do not understand this key point and reverse it. In the sadhana, it is said to rotate to the right, That is the arrangement, not the rotation method. It is impossible for the mantra garland of the Mother Tantra to rotate to the right. Initially, the syllables slowly rotate to the left, Then faster and faster, violently rotating to the left. Collisions cause sounds, and the mantra sound must not be flawed. If the mantra syllables are not clear, power will not arise, It should be recited softly like the sound of a bee, Because each syllable has its own pause. Do not recite like connected and smooth text, Violently break it and recite softly. This is the oral instruction for the approach of this practice. From the mantra garland in the heart, Five-colored rays of light radiate in ten directions, The gurus, yidams, and Heroes, dakinis, dharma protectors, and guardians residing in the ten directions, Become offerings that please body, speech, and mind. Everything transforms into the form of Simhamukha, Descending like a blizzard of snowflakes, Dissolving into oneself like rain falling into the ocean. Especially in the western part of India, In the land of Oddiyana (western paradise), From the intensely burning and dense charnel ground, The great Simhamukha is like Mount Meru, The tiny ones are like mustard seeds, countless, Continuously dissolving into oneself. Such contemplation and recitation is the approach. Then, from the mantra garland in one's heart, Rays of white light like moonlight radiate, Clearing away the sins, obscurations, impairments, diseases, and demonic influences of body and speech. Rays of light radiate outward, pervading all sentient beings, Clearing away the sins, obscurations, and suffering of all sentient beings, and The diseases, demonic influences, and obstacles of all those to be protected, Pacifying them like sunlight on mist. All the peaceful accomplishments of all the Buddhas, The rays of light gather and dissolve back into oneself, Obtaining the peaceful accomplishment of spontaneous perfection. Again, from the mantra garland in one's heart, Rays of golden light like sunlight radiate, Filling the body, increasing lifespan, merit, and realization. Rays of light radiate outward, pervading the world, The merit of all sentient beings
