This is Written by the ascetic Araka of the degenerate age who diligently engages in offering and giving. Athi! I confess any faults in this to Manjushri himself. May the teachings blaze like fire and spread widely, burning away the hosts of enemies and obstacles with virtue. Alas, some people, apart from the fire offerings of the tantras, say this is a fire offering and blow fire in front of it, saying this is the heart of fire, and see the burning of tormas. Some are attached to the fire offerings of the tantras, and waste time on drawing mandalas and ground rituals, and see that the number of offering substances and mantras is small. Those people do not see the meaning of this, and are slightly inconsistent with the meaning of the tantras.
