A Structured Arrangement of the Empowerment Ritual for the Sukhavati Field Practice from the Namchö (Sky Dharma) Tradition. A Structured Arrangement of the Empowerment Ritual for the Sukhavati Field Practice from the Namchö (Sky Dharma) Tradition. The Structured Arrangement of the Empowerment Ritual for the Sukhavati Field Practice from the Namchö Tradition is complete. Guru Deva Dakini! The empowerment practice of Sukhavati is: On a mandala of eight lotus petals, or on eight petals of grain, in front of the body image, vase, longevity torma, and bowl vajra arranged, the five offerings and arrow banners are displayed. The body image, vajra, and bowl, if they are tsakli, are arranged on a base. Namo! To the Three Jewels and Three Roots, I go for refuge to the places of refuge. In order to establish all beings in Buddhahood, I generate the supreme Bodhicitta. From the expanse of primordial purity, clouds of offerings that fill the sky and earth, along with medicine, torma, rakta, and goddesses, may they become inexhaustible. Puja! Ho! On a lotus, a water-born flower, within that, oneself as a white hero, one face, four arms, hands in prayer mudra, right and left holding a mala and lotus, seated in vajra posture on a lotus and moon cushion. On the vase water and inside the bowl, the vajra's navel center, the top of the torma. On the body image, on a lotus and moon seat, Amitabha, the protector, body red in color, one face, two arms in meditative equipoise, holding a bowl and wearing Dharma robes, seated in the vajra posture. To the right is Avalokiteśvara, white, one face, four arms in prayer mudra, right and left holding a mala and lotus, standing on a lotus and moon. To the left is Vajrapani, possessing great power, one face, two arms, body blue in color, right and left holding a vajra and bell, standing on a lotus and moon. Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Shravakas, Arhats, an immeasurable number surround. From the three places of the three main ones, light radiates from the three syllables, invited from Sukhavati. Om Ami Dewa Hi! Vajra Samaya Ja! Dza Hum Bam Hoh! Tishta Lhan! Ati Pūho! Om Hum Hum Hum Ah! Abhi Shintsa Mi! Argham, etc. Hum! In Sukhavati, turning the wheel of Dharma, always watching sentient beings with compassion, making vows and promises, acting as a refuge for beings, to the boundless Samantabhadra, I prostrate and praise. From the bodies of the deities, rays of light radiate westward, from Sukhavati, the immeasurable Amitabha, body, mantra garland, and immeasurable hand symbols.

Then, like rain falling, it dissolves into myself and the empowerment deity, causing the vase to be filled with nectar. Oṃ, Amitabha Deva, Hrīḥ) is said. Oṃ, Hūṃ, Svāhā) is recited no less than two hundred times as much as possible. Then, the assembled disciples are bathed and offer a maṇḍala. Now, this time, you all will be given the empowerment of the Sukhāvatī realm. Furthermore, as stated by Orgyen Rinpoche, "The emanation of Tsoyal cuts off aimless conceptual gatherings; Labkyi Drölma will appear in Zangri." As prophesied, and as the Buddha prophesied in the extensive root tantra of Mañjuśrī, that she is an emanation of the Great Mother. The Brahmin Ārya Deva, Padampa Sangye, the treasure revealer Grapa Ngönshéchen, and all the learned and accomplished masters of India and Tibet have determined that she is the actual Great Mother, and thus Machig Yeshe's khandro instructed her son Gyalwa Döndrup in the secret words of the khandro, the twenty-one commitments. If one desires to quickly attain Buddhahood, one must make aspirations to a pure Buddha-field. There are countless different Buddha-fields, and it is difficult to exhaust them with words. After saying that, To be born in other excellent Buddha-fields besides Sukhāvatī, one must completely cut off the two obscurations and attain at least the eighth bhūmi. Even to be born in a middling Buddha-field, one must completely cut off even the subtlest obscurations of afflictions and attain at least the first path of accumulation. Even in an inferior Buddha-field, one must cut off self-grasping from the root and realize the truth of selflessness, attaining the path of seeing. Until one attains the path of seeing, even if one makes aspirations, it will not be accomplished. Even if one has not attained the path of seeing, if one does not incur even the slightest fault in the vows and precepts, and strives to abandon evil and cultivate virtue, and diligently makes aspirations, it seems that it is even possible to be born in some small Buddha-fields such as Tuṣita. However, that is also difficult. In those Buddha-fields, it is not the place of birth for ordinary beings who dwell in the midst of afflictions, so one must still make long-term aspirations. Therefore, ordinary beings who are afflicted cannot be born in a Buddha-field. However, the aspiration of Buddha Amitābha
