Therefore, it is called the Aggregate of Form because it is an accumulation based on a common foundation. Similarly, apply it to others as well. The Sutra School believes that form, feeling, perception, associated formations, and consciousness are substantially existent, while non-associated formations are imputed to the states of form, mind, and mental factors, and are not substantially existent. Particles and moments are substantially existent, while grossness and permanence are not substantially existent, therefore the aggregates are also imputed. Therefore, form is substantially existent, while the aggregate is imputed, hence it is called the Aggregate of Form, which is an accumulation based on different foundations, like the pills of Devadatta. Similarly, apply it to other situations as well. The Yogacara school believes that form is not substantially different from mind and mental factors, and non-associated formations are also not different from them. Furthermore, since permanence is not substantially established, the aggregates are also considered to be merely imputed. Second, the categories of names. From the commentaries, it is known that all Abhidharma is the meaning of the Sutras, the determination of the Sutras, and the detailed explanation of the Sutras. Therefore, here, the nature of the names of the aggregates, such as time, mentioned in the Sutras, will be discussed. Therefore, these will be shown, among which those that are explained as conditioned phenomena are also spoken of in the three times. Among them, those that have passed are the past. What is going on is the present. What will happen is the future. Similarly, those conditioned phenomena themselves are also called the basis of speech. Speech is (the sound of the nature of letters, or) language. Its basis is the name to be expressed. If so, will only the name become the basis of speech? No, because the basis (of speech) the basis (of language) (all conditioned phenomena) is mentioned, therefore all conditioned phenomena are the basis of speech. Language refers to names, (names,) because it expresses all conditioned phenomena. (That is, the direct object of expression of language is the name, while the meaning is the object of attachment, therefore all conditioned phenomena are the basis of speech.) Although unconditioned phenomena are the object of expression of names, because they are not the cause, and the expression is less, they are not indicated as the basis of speech. In this way, the statement quoted from the Vibhajyavada, "The bases of speech are encompassed by the eighteen elements," will be well quoted.

Furthermore, these conditioned phenomena are also called possessing emergence, because emergence is nirvana. The object of emergence is conditioned phenomena, and transcending it is the end of conditioned phenomena, therefore possessing emergence. If the truth of the path is not an object of emergence, then wouldn't all conditioned phenomena not become possessing emergence? The Middle Length Discourses state, 'Those who understand the categories of the Dharma as like a raft should abandon even the Dharmas, how much more so non-dharmas?' The Ornament of the Sutras also states, 'Those who understand the meaning should know that all dharmas are like a raft.' Because it is also an object of emergence when entering into nirvana without remainder.

(Because it arises from the place of origin.) What is called "existence" is also those (synonyms of names, consistent with meaning.) In order, because it harms oneself and others, fighting with afflictions, and the suffering of formation is not in accordance with the noble ones, and is tormented by the three sufferings, the aggregates that are the cause (contaminated) are the origin, and the aggregates that are the result (contaminated) are suffering, therefore, from this cause, all the sufferings that are the result arise, and are endowed with destruction, and the sutra says, monks, some people who regard themselves and what belongs to them as correct, those who correctly regard themselves and what belongs to them, correctly regard these aggregates of taking themselves and what belongs to them, therefore (for this contaminated one,) the view of the perishable collection and other views are expanded (through the way of existence, the contaminated aggregates of the Arhat are also taken, because with it as the object, the afflictions of taking in other continuums will arise.), and also, it is for connecting the continuum. If all the afflictions grow on contaminated objects, why is it said that it is only the place of view? Other afflictions will also grow, but here it is said that it is only the place of view, because for all contaminated objects, at all times, without distinction, constantly clinging, that is called the place, while attachment, anger, and pride are the nature of the afflictions themselves, so it is not for all things, nor at all times, because it will be explained as for whom, that which arises and is not abandoned. Ignorance is at all times, but not undifferentiated in one aspect, because those who have the same as attachment, etc., are recognized like attachment, etc. For doubt, although there are others, there is no constant clinging. Therefore, Acharya Vasubandhu said: Always and in all, without distinction and unwavering, is the view, thus attachment, etc. and, ignorance and doubt are not. It is said like that. (If so, the path truth will also become contaminated, because the suffering of formation
