Just as entering into trust and confidence without hesitation, we should also strive to pursue the path of liberation from samsara, entering the door of the precious Dharma. Relying on the sacred Guru, diligently listening, contemplating, and meditating on his teachings, we must cut off doubts and attachments. As the root verses of the "Hearing Liberation Intermediate State" say: "Alas! When the intermediate state of birth arises for me, Do not waste this life, abandoning laziness, Engage in the path without distraction, through hearing, contemplation, and meditation. Transform appearances and thoughts into the path, realize the three bodies. At this time when a human body is obtained once, It is not the time to remain on the path of distraction." And as the Vajra verses of the oral transmission of Orgyen Padmasambhava say: "The practice of the initial natural intermediate state, Without distraction, strike the essential point of hearing, contemplation, and meditation. When all doubts and attachments are cut from within, It is like a bird entering its nest, free from hesitation." The meaning of the above is that, like the "Hearing Liberation," one should practice like the guiding text of this Dharma, "All-Accomplishing Self-Liberation," and ascertain the reality of All-Accomplishing. As the Dakini Heart Essence says, those of superior faculties attain enlightenment in one lifetime without experiencing the intermediate state. Generally, the profound and swift path of generation and completion stages, especially through Trekchö and Tögal, is called the path of the Dharmakaya. Second, in the dream intermediate state, teachings like raising a lamp in a dark cave are needed. As the "Hearing Liberation" says: "Alas! When the dream intermediate state arises for me, Abandon ignorance like a corpse, do not be heedless, Maintain mindfulness without distraction, abide in the natural state. Grasp dreams, practice transformation and clear light. Do not sleep like an animal, Cherish the practice of integrating sleep and manifestation." The meaning of the above is that, like the guiding text of this Dharma, "Delusion Self-Liberation," during the day, practice illusory body appearance self-liberation, at night, practice dream delusion self-liberation, and then through the door of clear light ignorance delusion self-liberation, liberate day and night into the great perfection of clear light. Third, in the meditation intermediate state, teachings like a beautiful woman looking in a mirror are needed. That is to say, a beautiful woman does not know what her appearance is like without looking in a mirror, but she knows when she looks in a mirror. Similarly, a yogi must also abide in the meditation of self-nature abiding, and if he does not practice, he cannot recognize

The necessity of recognizing things as they are through learning is like this: As it says in "Hearing Liberation": Alas, when the Bardo of meditation dawns upon me, Having abandoned all the gatherings of distraction and confusion, I enter a state of non-distraction, non-grasping, and freedom from extremes. I strive to gain stability in the two stages of generation and completion. Having abandoned activities, at this time of single-pointed meditation, Do not let yourself be controlled by the confusion of afflictions. And as it says in the Diamond Verses of the Oral Transmission of Orgyen Padma: Unclear makes clear, like a mirror's brightness. The meaning of this is that, if you practice this according to its instruction manual, "Self-Liberation of Awareness," you need to purify the clinging to the characteristics of view and meditation in the expanse. Fourth, the instruction of the dying Bardo being like a king sending a message is: If the person to whom the king sends a message forgets the message, there will be punishment. If he does not forget, there will be no punishment. Similarly, if a yogi forgets these dying instructions, there will be fear, dread, and panic in the Bardo. If he does not forget, there will be none. Such instructions, especially like the transference of consciousness, "Remembrance of Self-Liberation," and the Dakini Heart Drop, examine death in detail, how to die, and the instructions including the key points, clarification, and introduction. Having practiced with confidence and certainty, clearly remember in your mind the instructions needed at the time of death, and like today, make thorough preparations for death. Fifth, in the Bardo of Dharmata, recognizing self-appearance, the instruction of being like a child running into its mother's lap. Combining this instruction manual, "Seeing Self-Liberation," and the Heart Drop instruction manual, and practicing, thoroughly understand the meaning of the instructions for applying the practice of the four visions of Togyal to your own mindstream. No matter how the appearances of Dharmata arise, be confident that there is no fear, and be confident that it is the play of self-appearing wisdom. These five points should be applied to the capacities of the three types of individuals, superior, intermediate, and inferior, and practiced in this life. If practiced in this way, the superior ones can rely on the Togyal path of the Dharmata Bardo instructions and attain the great accomplishment of dissolving into the rainbow body of light, or if they cannot do that, they can die without the Bardo through the practice of cutting through the Bardo of birth and the instructions on the illusory body, dream, and clear light, which are the contributing factors to that path. For example, just as there is no darkness between the moonlight of the fifteenth night and the sunlight of the sixteenth day.
