And those marks and examples can also be explained in detail based on the words of the wise, but considering the length, I will stop here for now. Secondly, to dispel the doubts of others, I will explain. Someone says: It is unreasonable for you to separate the meaning of the classic's name and the benefits from the classic itself. Answer: There is no fault. Although there is a way to explain it without separating it like that, here the praise is the classic itself, and the other two are just branches, so there is nothing unreasonable. It is also unreasonable to summarize the meaning into three aspects, because it is not actually obvious, and if that were the case, the following sentence "eliminating the darkness of ignorance" would have to be explained in connection with the merit of intention, so the order would be wrong. Answer: That fault is also not valid. Summarizing into three aspects is in terms of the main aspect, and the following occurrence is also a branch of the merits of body, speech, and mind, so there is no contradiction. Also, it is unreasonable to explain "as many as" as all dharmas, because that should be used for "as many as" which distinguishes "as it is" and "as many as." Answer: That is not the case. In general, the word "as many as" also applies to the mundane, but here it should be understood as all dharmas with a plural word, and if it is not like that, the fact that Manjushri knows the truth as it is cannot be explained by this classic. Also, it is not right to say sixty-four tones, because only sixty are mentioned here. Answer: That is also not contradictory, because that is just a summary of the classification, and it can also be explained as "sixty tones with four extra." Also, the meaning of "primordially pure" is also unreasonable, because that should be used to explain self-nature purity from the beginning. Answer: There is no fault. In general, there are classics that must be explained that way, but it is not appropriate to explain it that way here. Because all dharmas are also self-nature pure from the beginning. Also, some people say: It is unreasonable for you to say that Manjushri is both the father of the Victorious One and the son of the Victorious One, because on one entity, these two are contradictory. Answer: That fault is also not valid. The meaning of the father of the Victorious One is that Manjushri previously

The countless Buddhas, including the thousand Buddhas of the Fortunate Aeon, and the meaning of first generating the mind of enlightenment, and the title "Son of the Buddha," is because Je Yabse said that it is born from some Buddhas who are one's refuge. By analogy, even if other things become doubtful points, they should be understood as without fault. Third, explaining the benefits: Whichever person, with pure higher intention, recites the above praise once, seven times, twenty-one times, one hundred times, one thousand times, etc., every day, according to the previous order, reciting it once a day can purify obscurations, seven times can increase learning, twenty-one times can increase eloquence, one hundred times can obtain the dharani of non-forgetting, reciting it a thousand times, etc., even reciting it a hundred thousand million times, can obtain the power of wisdom to subdue all external opponents, and be endowed with immeasurable qualities such as strength. Furthermore, whichever person recites the praise three times a day without interruption, can, as just said, be endowed with the qualities of purifying obscurations, etc. Through the wisdom of realizing emptiness and being embraced by great compassion, gradually practicing the general path of the Mahayana and especially the first bhumi, etc., from higher to higher, the differences in qualities increase more and more, quickly reaching the ultimate great city of the Buddha who has all knowledge, becoming the great guide who can liberate all beings from the great ocean of samsara—the Buddha Bhagavan. Furthermore, in the Sutra of the Pure Land of Manjushri, it is said that reciting the name of Manjushri is equal to reciting the names of a billion Buddhas. Thus, the explanation of the meaning of the "Praise of Auspicious Wisdom and Qualities" is complete. Said: The collection of all the wisdom of all guides, the unified Buddha-son Manjushri Vajra, the daylight of praising his nature, arises for the blooming of the lotus of virtuous wisdom. Although I have not seen the explanations of this intention by previous wise men

At the urging of others, for the sake of intelligent seekers, I have composed this work, which is like hanging meat on a hook. However, after carefully studying the original text, I have abandoned the tedious explanations, extracted the essence of the meaning, and believe that I have truly accomplished the guru's intention. Therefore, I think that there should be no faults in this work. May the Buddha's teachings abide on the summit of the snow mountains, and adorn itself with the burden of scriptures and logic. With the five faces that possess the three fearless qualities, I sincerely confess all the mistakes. Although I have not seen the vast ocean of scriptures, I want to draw treasures from the well. Those who are only satisfied with a smattering of knowledge and call themselves teachers, if they wander elsewhere, who can stop them? May the power of this virtuous deed enable all sentient beings who seek wisdom to be embraced by the Holy Manjushri and quickly attain omniscient wisdom. Thus, this brief commentary on the praise called "Glorious Wisdom, Virtue, and Excellence" was written by the Shakya monk, a speaker and practitioner, at the urging of the one named Shakya Bhuti, and later printed by the faithful and wise Abbess Mati Mudra to show the auspicious connection of being embraced by her personal deity, Manjushri. Auspicious! Auspicious! A brief commentary on the praise of the venerable Manjushri - Glorious Wisdom, Virtue, and Excellence.
