Homage to Guru (藏文,梵文天城体,guru,Teacher), Ārya Mañjuśrīye (藏文,梵文天城体,ārya mañjuśrīye,Noble Wondrous Glory). The supreme speaker, the teacher, the Bhagavan, his representative, Mipham Chökyi Wangchuk, the great chariot Thokmé and his brother, and the second Buddha, father and son, I bow to them. The words of the Buddha, other Prajñāpāramitā, the objects of expression, all aspects of enlightenment, some distinctions, with a mind long familiar with many texts, I will explain the intention of the wise as it is. Here, from the Mother of the Buddhas, from form to omniscience, the many divisions of the Dharma of complete purification, if the definitions, divisions, etc., of these are explained in detail, it would be of great benefit to oneself, but because it is feared to be too much, it will be explained in brief. That is, if the one hundred and eight commentary verses are collected, they can be collected into two: the side of complete affliction and the two dharmas of the side of complete purification. The first has fifty-three: the five aggregates, such as the form aggregate, the six faculties, such as the eye, the six objects, such as the form, the six consciousnesses, such as the eye consciousness, the six contacts, such as the eye contact, the six feelings, such as the feeling caused by the eye contact, the six elements, such as the earth, and the twelve links of dependent origination, such as ignorance. Explaining these in order: First, there are three aggregates: the basis of division, the division, and the need. The first is: that which appears or is gathered as if piled up in the object of consciousness is the meaning of the aggregate. There are five divisions: the form aggregate, the feeling aggregate, the perception aggregate, the formation aggregate, and the consciousness aggregate. First, there is definition and division. First, in general, that which can be damaged is the definition of form. As it says in the Entering Path: Form is that which has the nature of being damaged. For the other four also: Feeling is of the nature of experiencing. Perception is taking characteristics. Formation is manifestly forming. Object is individually distinguishing. It is the definition of consciousness. As it is said, the meaning of the aggregate should be combined as before. In terms of division: there are the four elements," } ] ============================================================

There are two types of derived form. The first is: earth, water, fire, and wind, these four. The second is that derived form has color, shape, and three other forms besides these. The first is the color of roots and branches. The second is shapes such as length and shortness. The third is the sense faculties such as the eyes, and sounds, smells, tastes, and so on, and one aspect of both form and touch are derived. The second has definition and classification. The first is: the mental factor that distinguishes experiences of pleasure, pain, etc., which are ripened results, whether real or imputed, is the definition of feeling. This should be understood through three aspects: who experiences, what is experienced, and how it is experienced. The actual feeling is which of these three is doing the experiencing; it should be understood how to understand this in relation to others as well. If classified, there are three feelings: pleasure, pain, and neutral, three types of experience that do not mix. The third has two aspects, the first is: the mental factor that distinguishes by grasping the different characteristics of objects, through the combination of object, faculty, and consciousness, is the definition of perception. This one and the next one, these three should be understood through the three aspects of agent, action, and object. If classified, there are two types of perception: with conceptualization and without conceptualization. The first is: mostly the coarse conceptual perceptions that arise as part of the retinue of the mind consciousness of ordinary beings, such as the knowledge that distinguishes what is seen and heard, saying, "This is this, that is that." However, the perception of a child who does not understand language is categorized as non-conceptual. Non-conceptual perception is: not thinking "this is this" or "that is that," but the samadhi wisdom that directly realizes ultimate truth, and the absorptions of the formless realms. The fourth has two aspects, the first is: conditioned phenomena other than the other four aggregates, is the definition of formation. If classified, there are two types of formations: associated formations and non-associated formations. The first is: the mental factors that cause the mind to move towards objects, and virtuous, non-virtuous, and unspecified actions. The second is: time established as the state of being that causes arising, abiding, and ceasing of form and mind, such as birth, aging, sickness, death, impermanence, and destruction. The fifth
