The place of birth is Dasa Tel. The race is Hor, and the clan is Dong. Among the four Jets and eight Kols of the Dong clan, he belongs to the Upper Dzom Yik Tsang Je. At that time, a diviner named Leu Bonpo Abar Kunkrak made a divination, saying that if he were to be seen as the main figure, he would become a highly respected supreme being, and if he were to become a monk, he would become an excellent monk. He was named Hor Drak. From the age of five, he lovingly cared for calves, lambs, and kids, and the children seemed to follow him like following their mother. At the age of seven, he preached the Dharma to the children and assumed the posture of meditation, and he gave whatever food and drink he had in his hands to others without hesitation. From the age of eight, he learned to read and write from the teacher Wang Seng, and mastered many arithmetic and vocabulary. After receiving meditation instructions, he returned to his homeland. At the age of thirteen, when he heard the fame of Lama Rinpoche Barompa, he longed to see him so much that the hairs on his body stood on end. At that time, he heard that Lama Rinpoche was staying at the camp of Dakchung Serkar, an official of Jangtsi Bar, so he was invited to his father's camp. He provided unimaginable service. He saddled his father's good horse, had his son ride it, and led the horse with a silk scarf. He offered all his possessions. After that, he was unable to follow Lama Rinpoche back to Dokham. At the age of fifteen, he went to Tsal to meet Zhang Rinpoche. When he met people who were fighting, Zhang Rinpoche said, "You must help me fight." Gapa Gyalwa, Rinpoche said, "No matter what I do, it will not go beyond the scope of Mahamudra." Immediately after saying that, blessings entered, and self-mind was recognized. There, offerings were made, and he was requested to be accepted. After that, during the lha gsol (deity offering) of Trugpa Gyalwa, he gave the initiation and practice methods of the Yidam's generation stage and the four-armed protector. Also, when a person named Tsangton Hrulpo requested the initiation of Jetsunma, as a sign of the arrival of wisdom, he jumped into the sky and stayed there. He received the ultimate path instructions and the Five Nails composed by you, the Dagpo oral transmission passed down from the meditation method, and all the protector teachings passed down from Ngwa Lo. After that, he met Sangye Gompa in Yerpa and attended on him. When I asked to be given a name, he gave the name Sherab Senge. He received the oral transmission of Drigom Repa, and the teachings passed down from Mal Yerpa Jeipa Rinpoche, as well as the Lamdre Magig Zhama's tradition, the Zhi byed Ma so kam gsum, the Five Stages, the Ten Dharmas, the Three Dharmas, etc. There, from Monlam Ozer, a student of Ngok Chungpa, he received all the initiations and oral transmissions of the tantra classes of the Dharma teachings passed down from Ngok, as well as the explanations of Gurtag, Sa-sum, etc., and all the root downfalls of the Fifty Verses on the Guru, etc. In this way, he attended on the three lamas in turn for six years, and completely received the instructions, teachings, and explanations of the scriptures. After that, he went to Taglung and met Tangpa Rinpoche. He listened to the teachings on Mahamudra and gave detailed explanations of the dohas. He completely gave the collected teachings of Dheg Sheg Pagdru and cherished them very much. After that, he returned to his homeland and, while reviewing and practicing the instructions, he heard the biography of the great being, Drigung Rinpoche, who was residing in Drakkar at Lhagmar of Northern Namra, leading disciples to the path of maturation and liberation. There, due to strong faith, he could not stay and went to see him. He was accepted with compassion. He gave detailed instructions on the Mahamudra with Five Features. He completely gave the initiations of Chakrasamvara and Vajravarahi. Later, he said, "You must come to Drigung Thil," and also bestowed songs and spontaneous words, which he cherished very much. After that, he went to Barom and met Lopon Wangse.
