Generate understanding. Thinking to abandon suffering for the sake of all beings, that Bodhisattva who contemplates self and all sentient beings. This is not the supreme practice of the Perfection of Wisdom. Thus it was said. Even if compassion arises in that way, one should be skilled in the key points of compassion. Because it is not great compassion, what is great compassion? Just as oneself does not want suffering, one does not want the suffering of all sentient beings. Just as oneself wants happiness, all sentient beings also want happiness. When one realizes one's own mind as Dharmakaya, the minds of sentient beings are also Dharmakaya. For those who have not realized this, compassion arises. In this way, compassion will arise. By realizing one's own mind as unborn, compassion arises naturally. Thus, it is also said in the Condensed Prajnaparamita Sutra: Know that all sentient beings are like oneself. Know that all dharmas are like all sentient beings. Not discriminating between birth and non-birth, this is the supreme practice of the mind of the Perfection of Wisdom. Thus it was said. What is Bodhicitta? Without differentiating between conventional and ultimate truth, meditate that one's own mind is it. How to meditate on the Guru and the Buddha? I asked, how do I meditate? The Dharmakaya of the Guru Buddha is, profound, peaceful, free from elaboration, uncompounded. Do not think it exists separately, devotion is to never be separated. The Sambhogakaya of uncontaminated great bliss is, the majestic Heruka with beauty and so on. The body embracing the two, method and wisdom, inseparable union is devotion. For all the various samsara and nirvana without exception, all that is knowable, the Nirmanakaya is, pure, clear, and unmixed, the activity is inseparable, this is devotion. To the motherly sentient beings, I asked, how to benefit them? Whatever actions and deeds one does, seize them with Bodhicitta, with my body and possessions, and with Dharma and fearlessness, etc., benefit them without attachment or clinging. Wherever one stays, how to offer the torma, and how to discern truth, I asked, to the Guru, the Three Jewels, the Yidam deity, the Dharma protector Black Cloak Vajra, etc., offer as in the inner offering ritual. Praise and request blessings, entrust peaceful and increasing activities, etc. To the local deities of the place where one resides, dedicate white torma with the mantra of Akaro (Tibetan: ཨ་ཀཱ་རོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अकारो, Sanskrit Romanization: ākāro, Chinese literal meaning: A syllable). My body, speech, and mind

May it be. Whatever good deeds have been done, may you and others desire to attain happiness. May you be the patrons of my perfect virtue. Please explain the profound and clear Dharma, this clear pearl garland is the lamp that dispels the darkness of ignorance. Ask this about what to accept and reject, this is the one with wisdom. Ask this about temporary and ultimate reliance, the trustworthy one protects the profound. This innate nature without addition or subtraction is what cuts off doubt and delusion. The arising of joy in the mind is the way for great meditators to dispel sorrow. All actions and deeds are gathered into the two accumulations. The two bodies are inherently within oneself, do not seek them from elsewhere, contemplate them within oneself. To all sentient beings and to you, the protector of virtues, whatever is the refuge and hope, this is the precious instruction. Please enjoy it, fortunate one. If experience and realization arise, grant the supreme and common siddhis. May the source of happiness for oneself and others, manifest the two bodies.
