He said. Furthermore, in the Dohā, it says: "For seeing, hearing, remembering, and knowing, as well as meaningless chatter and responses, one should not act from those very appearances." It seems that the meaning spoken of also refers to this. If one becomes familiar with this and it manifests, then the result also remains there, thus being free from falling into samsara and the fear of falling. Transcending suffering, because one recognizes one's own mind as the Dharmakaya, one is free from the hope of attaining Buddhahood. The cause for the perfection of benefiting others lies in: generating the supreme Bodhicitta, cultivating loving-kindness and compassion, the mind of Bodhicitta, having devotion to the Lama, visualizing the body as the deity, and making pure aspirations, then the happiness of both oneself and others will be perfected. Obtaining both common and supreme accomplishments lies within this itself. By this root of virtue arising from this, may myself and others attain unsurpassed Bodhi. The virtuous friend said: Please write down in detail and send the one Dharma that I have experienced. Therefore, I have written down in words the extent to which I have experienced my own mind. If it is comfortable for your mind, practice in this way. However, you do not need this, because I have not broken the words that you sent, please be pleased. Offering to a virtuous friend requires great wealth, but I do not have it. One large silk cloth, one large container of silver with fifty ounces, one excellent two-sho portion of red turquoise called "Three-Edged" offered by Dromi, and one good Mongolian shirt, these are offered. Although the offering seems small, please do not diminish your compassion. Instructions to the Sakyas, composed by Tishri Repa, is complete. Auspicious! Instructions to the Sakyas, the great Brahmin, etc.
