Dominance-object – having given a gift, having undertaken precepts, having performed Uposatha duties, having made that weighty… (etc.) having emerged from jhānas… (etc.) having emerged from noble paths… (etc.) having emerged from fruits… (etc.) having made the fruit weighty… (etc.) having made Nibbāna weighty… Nibbāna for the lineage-changer, for the purification, for the path, for the fruit, is a condition by way of the dominance condition. The base… the faculty of femininity… the faculty of masculinity… the faculty of life… the water element… nutritive food… having made the unmanifested, non-impinging aggregates weighty, one enjoys, one delights in; having made that weighty, lust arises, wrong view arises. Dominance-co-arisen – the unmanifested, non-impinging dominance for the associated aggregates and for the unmanifested, non-impinging mind-originated forms, is a condition by way of the dominance condition. (1) The unmanifested, non-impinging phenomenon for the manifested, impinging phenomenon is a condition by way of the dominance condition. The undemonstrable and with-impact phenomenon is a condition for the undemonstrable and with-impact phenomenon by way of co-arising condition. (This should be done well, like the dependent origination section. In the mutual condition, it is like the mutual condition in the dependent origination section; in the support condition, it is like the dependent origination section). Decisive Support Condition 37. The demonstrable and with-impact phenomenon is a condition for the undemonstrable and without-impact phenomenon by way of decisive support condition — object decisive support, natural decisive support...etc.... Natural decisive support — desiring beauty of complexion, one gives alms, undertakes precepts, performs Uposatha...etc.... Beauty of complexion for faith...etc.... for wisdom, for lust...etc.... for desire, for bodily pleasure, for bodily pain, for the path, for the attainment of fruition is a condition by way of decisive support condition. (1) The undemonstrable and with-impact phenomenon is a condition for the undemonstrable and without-impact phenomenon by way of decisive support condition — object decisive support, natural decisive support...etc.... Natural decisive support — desiring perfection of sight...etc.... perfection of body... perfection of sound...etc.... desiring perfection of touch, one gives alms, undertakes precepts, performs Uposatha... relying on season... on lodging, one gives alms, undertakes precepts, performs Uposatha. One produces jhāna... vipassanā... the path... supernormal knowledge... attainment. One kills living beings...etc.... breaks up the Saṅgha. Perfection of sight...etc.... perfection of touch, season, lodging for faith...etc.... for wisdom, for lust...etc.... for desire, for bodily pleasure, for bodily pain, for the path, for the attainment of fruition is a condition by way of decisive support condition. (1) 38. The undemonstrable and without-impact phenomenon is a condition for the undemonstrable and without-impact phenomenon by way of decisive support condition — object decisive support, immediate decisive support, natural decisive support...etc.... Natural decisive support — relying on faith, one gives alms, undertakes precepts, performs Uposatha... jhāna... attainment... gives rise to, murmurs conceit, grasps wrong view. Virtue…etc… wisdom… greed…etc… aspiration, bodily pleasure… bodily pain… gives a gift dependent on food…etc… breaks up the Sangha. Faith…etc… wisdom, greed…etc… aspiration, bodily pleasure… bodily pain… food, by faith…etc… by wisdom, of the path, of the attainment of fruition, is a condition by way of decisive support. (1) Pre-nascent Condition 39. The visible and impinging phenomenon is a condition for the invisible and non-impinging phenomenon by way of pre-nascent condition. Pre-nascent object: One discerns form as impermanent, as suffering, as non-self; one savors and delights in it; dependent on that, greed arises, wrong view…etc… doubt…etc… restlessness…etc… displeasure arises. One sees form with the divine eye. The eye-base is a condition for eye-consciousness by way of pre-nascent condition. (1) The invisible and impinging phenomenon is a condition for the invisible and non-impinging phenomenon by way of pre-nascent condition – pre-nascent object, pre-nascent base. Pre-nascent object: The eye…etc… the body… sounds…etc… tangibles as impermanent…etc… displeasure arises. One hears sound with the divine ear-element. The sound-base is a condition for ear-consciousness…etc… the tangible-base is a condition for body-consciousness by way of pre-nascent condition. Pre-nascent base: The eye-base is a condition for eye-consciousness…etc… the body-base is a condition for body-consciousness by way of pre-nascent condition. (1) The invisible and non-impinging phenomenon is a condition for the invisible and non-impinging phenomenon by way of pre-nascent condition – pre-nascent object, pre-nascent base. Pre-nascent object: The base… the female faculty… the male faculty… the life faculty… the water element… nutritive food… as impermanent…etc… displeasure arises. Pre-nascent base: The base is a condition for the invisible and non-impinging aggregates by way of pre-nascent condition. (1) 40. The visible and impinging phenomenon and the invisible and non-impinging phenomenon are a condition for the invisible and non-impinging phenomenon The condition of pre-nascent relation for a phenomenon – Pre-nascent object, pre-nascent base. The visible-object base and the base are a condition by way of pre-nascent relation for the non-manifesting, non-impinging aggregates.
