With a mind accompanied by equanimity, they discern the aggregates accompanied by equanimity as impermanent, as suffering, as non-self, they enjoy, they delight. Concerning that, lust accompanied by equanimity arises, wrong view arises, doubt arises, restlessness arises. By means of the knowledge of penetration of others' minds, one knows the mind of one endowed with a mind accompanied by equanimity. The sphere of infinite space is a condition by way of object for the sphere of infinite consciousness... etc.... The sphere of nothingness is a condition by way of object for the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. The aggregates accompanied by equanimity are a condition by way of object for the advertence of the knowledge of psychic powers, the knowledge of penetration of others' minds, the knowledge of recollection of past lives, the knowledge of the passing away and reappearance of beings according to their karma, the knowledge of future events. is a condition by this. Concerning the aggregates accompanied by equanimity, aggregates accompanied by equanimity arise. (1) A phenomenon accompanied by equanimity for a phenomenon accompanied by joy... for a phenomenon accompanied by pleasure... for a phenomenon accompanied by both joy and pleasure is a condition by way of object condition. Having taken as object the aggregates accompanied by joy and accompanied by pleasure, the aggregates accompanied by equanimity arise. (3) The phenomena accompanied by joy and accompanied by pleasure are a condition for the phenomena accompanied by joy and accompanied by pleasure by the object condition (abbreviated).
