It should not be said so… (and so on)… 264. Does an Arahant fall away from Arahantship? Yes. Did the Elder Sāriputta fall away from Arahantship? It should not be said so. Did the Elder Mahāmoggallāna… the Elder Mahākassapa… the Elder Mahākaccāyana… the Elder Mahākoṭṭhika… the Elder Mahāpanthaka fall away from Arahantship? It should not be said so.
