The Saṅgha agrees, therefore it is silent, thus I hold this. Mānatta for three offenses. 128. He, having completed the probation, informed the monks: "Friends, I committed one offense, intentional emission of semen, concealed for half a month... I have completed the probation. What should I do now?" They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "In that case, monks, the Saṅgha should give to the monk Udāyī for three offenses a six-night mānatta. And thus, monks, it should be given: "Therefore, monks, the monk Udāyī, having approached the Saṅgha... should be addressed thus: 'Venerable sirs, I committed one offense, intentional emission of semen, concealed for half a month... He informed the bhikkhus – "I, friends, committed one offense: intentional emission of semen, concealed for half a month... ...I, having completed mānatta and being worthy of rehabilitation, in the interim, committed one offense: intentional emission of semen, s..." a discharge of semen, concealed for five days. How should I proceed?" They reported this matter to the Blessed One. "Then, monks, the Sangha should pull back the monk Udāyi to the root for one intervening offense, a deliberate discharge of semen, concealed for five days, and give him a combined probation for the former offense, and give him six nights of penance.
