Just when it was about to come out the next day, that evening, the father ritual of Zambhala (ཛཾ་བྷ་ལ，Tibetan，zambha la，Sanskrit Devanagari，zambhala，Sanskrit Romanization，God of Wealth) was undertaken. He went there, and the vows were broken. Because of that fault, that night he became very ill, thinking he was going to die there. Just when he wasn't dead, the night he went to the monastery the next day, he made the mudra of the Wrathful Riri (ཁྲོ་བོ་རི་རི་ཏི，Tibetan). He said that this was to protect from obstacles. Again, after a while, Lord Amitayus appeared with a white body, saying that it seemed that he would not die this year. After that, he almost couldn't pray, but because you looked at me and others with compassion, the body was also purified. Now again in Cholung, that winter the Dakini Heart Drop was established without limit. He also completed the remaining parts of both the Kama and Longchen Nyingtik. In particular, the residence of Karmapa, the blessings, and the Tibetan instructions, you accepted with compassion, saying that these are suitable for you brothers, making people feel at ease. He also gave very good Kama instructions. After that, in the spring, he left Cholung, and his body was slightly unwell. He went to Paldeng, and he was sick there for about two months. After that, after I arrived, for more than a month, the body could not move, and through sick care and service, until the illness subsided. He said that in order to teach this teaching, these things must be done. In particular, because it is the Dzogchen Dharma lineage, others need both the Nyingtik, so these things must be done, and so on, he said a lot. After that, the general monks and disciples, especially our brothers and others, because they did not have merit, could not stay, so they went to look for a place to live. That night, calculating that they would arrive, but they did not arrive. Because I was uncomfortable and did not solve the problem, I did not succeed. That night I didn't sleep much. At dawn, a realization arose, saying, "You go slowly, attendant. He is waiting," and my heart calmed down a little. After that, he came up very late that night, but he did not arrive.

After that, he didn't say anything, and his illness lessened, so he entered into meditation. On the morning of the 19th day of the fifth month of the Rabbit year, he departed to the pure realm of beings to be tamed. Now, the fortune of people like us feels like it has disappeared at this time. I was very discouraged and shed many tears. I had Uncle Geshe and Uncle Lojyal hide the news. I prayed from the heart and made many aspirations. I always stood up, and the fever was very high. The body was laid out according to the ritual. I anointed it with sandalwood and camphor, and I went to the north. Because of unease in my heart about things like the Grab region, I didn't see it. Those performing the rituals of offering and so on said that in the sky that was not clear, it was filled with five-colored rainbows and white rainbows. Although he passed away like this, there was not much I could do to fulfill his wishes. The abbot of the monastery was also, and offerings were not very convenient. My own abilities were also limited, and although I lost a helper, relying on the kindness of the venerable one, I was barely able to manage. At the anniversary, the body was cremated, and although relics and so on did not appear, many bone fragments appeared. Similarly, a statue of Amitayus was built as an inner support, with a life tree and so on. After offering butter lamps and so on, when the Great Bodhi Stupa was built, various items were obtained effortlessly. The consecration ceremony was also very good, and the area seen also had auspicious signs of a good harvest. In Paldan Ding, there was also great blessing, and many auspicious signs appeared. In particular, a complete skull appeared in the reliquary, filled with jewels, and by the merit of this, everything in Paldan Ding was increasing, which is all his kindness. Like this, the glorious Paldan, possessing immeasurable kindness and qualities.

Wherever the supreme Lama resides in a pure realm, in general, please do not abandon all sentient beings, and especially the disciples who pray to you. When I started to explain the teachings of Mahamudra, others seemed not to understand. I only focused on one phrase of the explanation, and as a result, you appeared in a dream, saying, "This is it." Furthermore, if there are some good and bad aspects among the monasteries, please be pleased with the good aspects and displeased with the bad aspects, etc., these also seem to appear in dreams. Therefore, if we pray, you seem to look upon us with compassion, never separating. So, please pray with unwavering devotion, single-mindedly, and believe in the biography of the great qualities written above, and even if only a little is done, please put it into practice. Here, most of what is said was said during the giving of Dharma, and what was said when the master and disciples separated, and also what was said sporadically at other times, I have kept in mind, and as it was said, I have not altered it with self-fabricated, pleasant-sounding words, etc. In order to bring joy to the faithful, and also for myself to remember the supreme Lama and to comfort my mind, and because past Lamas have written biographies, I also felt that such a biography was needed here. Please look upon it, so that those with devotion may have faith in the practice of the Lama. At other times, because the seeds of obscuration are accumulated, it is appropriate to keep it secret from those who have no faith. Apart from that, in order to bring joy to those who have faith in the biography of the Lama, this work called "A Garland of Flowers" was written by the successor of the named Lama, the Shakya monk Ngawang Namgyal Tenzin Gyaltsen Palsangpo, on the twenty-first day of the eighth month of the Tiger year, on the day of the Revati constellation, in the secret chamber of the Dharma Lord Rinpoche of Tushita Maitreya. May this (merit) also enable me and all limitless sentient beings to realize that the nature of mind is inherently enlightened, and may we immediately realize it as it is through the kindness of the Lama! The radiant light shines forth, Rising in the sky of my mind, may it arrange For all the faithful lotus gardens to rejoice. From the ocean of merit that arises from that, May all beings, like bees, be satisfied with the Dharma, And may they ultimately ascend to the state of a Lama. Furthermore, in all lives and births, May the holy ones, like a mother, embrace me with love, May I be the only heart-son who accomplishes whatever they say, May I be satisfied with the milk of the sacred Dharma.
