For all the disciples, sever the ties of this life. Turn your mind wholeheartedly towards the Guru and the Three Jewels, without straying from the Dharma. Because of admiring the conduct of the predecessors, reside in secluded mountains and empty valleys. Not being tainted by the bad habits of this life, being free from the eight worldly concerns. Without forgetting the remembrance of the essential meaning, without belittling Dharma practice, in accordance with the arising of Bodhicitta, helping all sentient beings without discrimination. Striving without abandoning the important meaning. Continuing the lineage of the predecessors. Abandoning worldly associations of this life, and so forth, even a slight inclination towards the Dharma is not completely forbidden, and if that becomes an obstacle, then it is good. In order to avoid falling into the hands of those with wrong views and being tainted by wrong views, thereby abandoning the fault of taking refuge, it should be hidden. From the glorious Samantabhadra, there is no material, impure offering, nor is it tainted by the defilement of breaking vows. Because the five faults of the lineage have not been eliminated, strive to strictly maintain this samaya. Like worldly dharmas of this life, with great effort, build clay statues and other images, copy scriptures, and so on. If you accumulate a lot of merit, you will attain the spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya, and through countless emanations, benefit beings continuously. Because you have matured and liberated, in a secluded place, if you earnestly pursue that important meaning, you will see the benefit of yourself and others spontaneously accomplished, so please make them happy. A wandering monk like myself, Kumaraja, was repeatedly urged by Kunda, and others also said so. This year, staying nearby and respectfully serving, Rinchen Gyal also repeatedly urged me to write this. If such a letter circulates, not generating faith, creating sins, and so on, slandering those with faith, eliminating faults. What merit is there in writing this? May all sentient beings become Buddhas! Because a faithful person mainly urged the letter called "Long Chat," this letter written on the eighth day of the first month of summer in the year of the Tiger is completely finished. Auspicious! Auspicious! The venerable Guru Kumaraja himself, when showing the manner of passing away at the end of Dagpo and Lung, for the benefit of future generations, the words spoken after passing away were recorded as: Om Ah Hum.

The instructions of the wandering yogi, the youthful king: Ema, I have severed the root of clinging to self-nature, Realizing the absence of object, free from elaboration, and beyond extremes. In the Sambhogakaya, Kumārarāja dies. With compassion, primarily benefiting sentient beings, Awareness is liberated in the moment, meeting the Mother of Dharmata. In the Nirmanakaya, Kumārarāja dies. The primordial Buddha, without impurity, The ground appearance, self-radiance, dissolves into the place of original arising. In the spontaneously accomplished expanse, Kumārarāja dies. My profound and essential instructions, Condensed into essence, are shown as the heart of practice. My followers, fortunate heart-sons, However you practice, make it in accordance with the Dharma. These words of my testament, the words before departure, For the sake of future generations, show them with heartfelt devotion. Ṭik ṭik, there is nothing at all. In reality, this appearance is something without support. Excrement, I consider it a precious great treasure.
