Say, "Go further, go further!" and have the fortunate one meditate on walking. Likewise, do the same in the south, west, and north. If no signs of experience arise, release it with the gesture. Then, the lama waves his hand three times in the sky and says these words: "Ema, fortunate one, look up to the center of the sky, and look with your eyes at the five suns rising above, and can your eyes withstand the rays of the sun?" And then say, "Oh, direct your awareness to that sun, and go higher and higher above the sky, and do not return!" Then, the lama stands up and, sitting with his right leg extended, puts his fingers on his own eyes and says, "Ah, ah," and looks in the four directions. Again, he raises his finger to the sky, stares at the sky with his eyes wide open, and says, "This sky is so vast!" three times. Thus, when all these empowerments are complete, ask everyone about their experiences. If the fortunate one understands as it is, that is good; if they do not understand, release it with the gesture, because the lama's instructions will become sacred. Then, impart the instructions for direct manifestation of awareness and have them practice it. The extremely concise empowerment of the fortunate one is complete.
