Since there is no elaboration of the sound of arising, etc., the external sound is empty. Know that it is merely an appearance of non-existence, like an echo in a valley. Appearance is naked liberation, related to the means of abiding. When a yogi first practices, the key to speech is to be silent and not speak to anyone, thus self-expression ceases. Abide in great non-conceptual meditation, remaining in a state of single awareness. The sound of abiding is on one's own body, the garland of vowels and consonants (ཨཱ་ལི་ཀཱ་ལི་,梵文天城体:अलि कलि,梵文罗马拟音:ali kali,汉语字面意思:vowels and consonants) abides, the heart is surrounded by the garland and abides. Alone in the channels, how all that is expressed in speech does not go beyond vowels and consonants (ཨཱ་ལི་ཀཱ་ལི་,梵文天城体:अलि कलि,梵文罗马拟音:ali kali,汉语字面意思:vowels and consonants), it is the recitation of vowels and consonants (ཨཱ་ལི་ཀཱ་ལི་,梵文天城体:अलि कलि,梵文罗马拟音:ali kali,汉语字面意思:vowels and consonants). The yogi who knows how to practice this key of not needing to recite mantras, because what is spoken is mantra, is the garland of mantras without a target. Therefore, whatever is thought is meditation. The sound of placing is the letters of vowels and consonants (ཨཱ་ལི་ཀཱ་ལི་,梵文天城体:अलि कलि,梵文罗马拟音:ali kali,汉语字面意思:vowels and consonants), all gatherings, calls, and things that exist in form are written down, that's it. Those that are called are imputed words, because things have no basis for establishment in the ground of reality, so everything is like that. All that is examined is self-liberation, one's own self-liberation is like a snake knot. When I, the yogi, know, letters are exhausted, the limit of numbers is exhausted, therefore, there is only one bindu. The sound of calling is the fourteen vowels and thirty-four consonants, etc., because various things appear from the root activity, so this too is empty because it has no nature of speech. Appearance is without nature, for example, know it to be like the moon in water. The letters of vowels and consonants (ཨཱ་ལི་ཀཱ་ལི་,梵文天城体:अलि कलि,梵文罗马拟音:ali kali,汉语字面意思:vowels and consonants) that abide in the body, all abide in the center of the heart in the form of a garland, arising from between the tongue and teeth, and between the two lips, etc., and from the depths of the palate and the throat. If the yogi examines this well, that place is empty, it is the self-nature of no place. The impermanent collection of vowels and consonants (ཨཱ་ལི་ཀཱ་ལི་,梵文天城体:अलि कलि,梵文罗马拟音:ali kali,汉语字面意思:vowels and consonants), because each letter abides in each channel, they generate various things, know to distinguish between white and red. If you examine this and place your mind on that letter, karma and wind will be exhausted. Bindu wisdom is self-liberation, its essence is separate from the moon. The meaning of the sound of the five elements is: the posture and way of seeing in which the yogi abides, wanting to see in the main practice, completely abandoning external busyness, going to a solitary and uninhabited place to abide, first of all, upright conduct is the precursor, cutting off attachment to the body by straightening the spine.

The key to the body is to stand, with legs and arms outstretched like wings, the neck slightly tilted back, and the back also slightly tilted back. The key to speech is to utter a loud "ku" sound, making great sounds with intense effort. Sever the attachment to speech, and hurl the key of mind into the sky. Cast the eyes and awareness into the vastness of the sky, and there, clearly maintain mindfulness and awareness. Then, exhausted, become somewhat intoxicated. After that, awaken from that state, regain your spirit, and after resting, act as you please. In a secluded place, where all kinds of people do not roam, in an empty valley, using sandalwood and other very abundant dry wood, make piles and so on, and then light a great fire there, and offer tsok and torma to the dakinis. Then, observe the shape of the fire to judge common accomplishments. Shapes like flowers and spear tips can accomplish any actions of control and attraction. Shapes like wheels, swords, and triangles can accomplish actions of expelling others, cutting off, and violent actions. Recognizing that they are also empty and without inherent existence, the yogi engages in whatever conduct he or she pleases. The colors themselves can also be used to judge supreme accomplishments. White and yellow are the wisdom of flowers. It itself is self-born, very white, deep and clear, is the yogi's bodhicitta, acting for the benefit of beings with compassion, is a sign of emanation. Very red and clear, is a sign of dwelling in the world for a short time, and the shape is also like a sheep's horn. Blue-black, terrible black, if the shape is like that, through various fierce actions, wandering in charnel grounds, is a sign of being fit to walk. Great bliss is clear, yellow, with a black tip, I abandon all fear, and like a lion, walk in the fearless sign of being free from harm by others. Having done the best conduct in this way, or in that secluded place, again light a fire with a pile of firewood, and then at a distance of two fathoms, sit on a comfortable cushion, the key to the body is to lie face down like an animal, without closing the eyes, with the elbows propped on the ground, the neck raised, and the palms of the hands touching the cheeks, cast the awareness into the center of the fire.
