In the past, when the Blessed One went to the sandalwood forest, a ferocious tiger offered ten thousand medicinal herbs, therefore it became auspicious. Likewise, the Tiger Forest Master empowered the disciples, may it become auspicious! The ten thousand medicinal herbs offered by the tiger are supreme medicines, the Blessed One blessed with great compassion, enabling all the ignorance of animals to be awakened, may the supreme medicines eliminate all diseases! Subduing all evil beings, manifesting freely from all skillful illusions, saving from the lower realms with great compassion. This is the auspicious chapter forty-two of the empowerment of showing illusions. In the past, when the Blessed One went to the forest where lions dwell, the ferocious lion king offered a lion throne, therefore the medicine became extremely auspicious. In accordance with this, through the empowerment of the thorns of the lion's dwelling place, may the merits of the supreme medicine be auspicious everywhere!
