Then, recite the verses of homage to the glorious Kalachakra father and mother, and from "the chief victor," etc., to "Please quickly protect from fear," as it appears in the Bodhisattvacaryāvatāra. Then, offer the mandala of necessary offerings for the empowerment ritual. From "birth, old age, death, etc.," to "offering before the chief deity," and from "how the chief deity instructed," etc., to "please also enjoy a small portion," is the empowerment. If there is no time, recite "Om Ah A E Ri E U E Pancha Dhatu Vishuddhani Svaha!" etc., and it is also acceptable to omit up to "May the fruit of the seventh bhumi be attained!"
