Having heard and remembered it, he returned from going to the lower realms and settled in a state of great bliss. Such a principle has appeared, so act accordingly. If one thoroughly understands the secret of the Great Vehicle, even if thrown by the force of intense karma, it is like striking a blind man; the karma that throws cannot remain there. Why? Because everything is emptiness. The place where suffering is established is also empty because of the establishment of sentient beings. Therefore, one will not experience any touching pain. How is this so? In the past, there was a yogi with specific aims who, upon hearing the profound words of the Great Vehicle, became extremely frightened and agitated. He denounced and turned his back, his heart breaking. Without experiencing a fall into the lower realms, he reached the place of happiness and liberation. Understand that such a principle has appeared. In this secret of the Buddhas, whatever one likes, whatever desire one cultivates, without any other obstacles arising, one will quickly obtain as one wishes. How is this so? In the past, there was a Brahmin named Loving Protector who, upon seeing this essence of the Great Secret, developed faith and looked everywhere. But he could not find it. Wherever he stayed, he wept bitterly and lamented, saying: "Alas! I am so unfortunate. From birth to old age, if I seek the meaning of the true secret, but do not see it, how unfortunate. How will I see it now? Searching will not find it; who will guide me?" He cried loudly and spoke. It is the secret of all dharmas, From that, hundreds of thousands of billions arise. Having become the king of Dharma, He is called the lion of all speakers, renowned in all realms. Learn that such a manner arises. Furthermore, listen to the secret holder, the subduer of harm. The one path of the words of the great secret of the Great Vehicle, When it is understood in the mind, beings, Shravakas, unthinkable ones, and, Victorious Ones, infinite ones, with their sons, by spreading great assemblies of offerings and benefits, Even hundreds of thousands cannot bear it.
