Thus, the chapter on complete discernment from the Tantra of the Queen Mother of all the Glorious Assemblies of Gods, the Fully Sporting One, is complete. In the language of India: Khaṃ Mahāsūtra Tantra. In the Tibetan language: The Tantra of the Sky Leading. Homage to Vajra Heruka. Thus have I heard at one time: The Great Vajra Heruka, when residing in the grove of deer and tala trees, was surrounded by the eight classes of gods and demons. At that time, the eight classes of gods and demons were in conflict, causing unrest in the world, various diseases arose, untimely deaths occurred, and beings were sacrificing one another as ransom, using mothers and so on. Heruka, endowed with great compassion, considered that if these eight classes of gods and demons were bound, his retinue and other sentient beings would also become uneasy. While he was dwelling on this thought, the god who subdues obstacles rose from his seat and spoke thus to Heruka: "If these eight classes of gods and demons are not bound by compassion, the retinue of Heruka and sentient beings will engage in improper conduct, and various inauspicious diseases will arise." After he had spoken thus, Heruka arose from his samadhi and bound those eight classes of gods and demons with three kinds of torma. Some he bound with three samadhis, some he bound with three oily tormas, and some he bound with the Mahāśānti. Thereafter, the sentient beings of the six realms in Heruka's retinue dwelt without causing harm. From the Tantra of the Sky Leading, the first chapter: the chapter on binding the male lineage. Then again, because the women of existence and non-existence were in conflict, various diseases arose in the world, and they dwelt unhappily. Although the Great Heruka bound them with love, compassion, joy, and equanimity, it was obstructed, and sentient beings continued to sacrifice one another as ransom. Again, at that time, the god who subdues obstacles came from among the retinue and spoke thus to Heruka: "Even though these conflicting women of existence and non-existence have been bound, if they are not satisfied with suitable substances, they will not listen." After he had spoken thus, Heruka asked, "With what suitable substances should they be satisfied?"

Nödul spoke thus: Its co-operative substance is called space. Therefore, space, take the oath. Having spoken thus, Heruka spoke thus: Where is that which is called space? What is the cause of space? Where does that space abide? Is that space the nature of phenomena or the nature of mind? Is it the nature of the expanse? Having spoken thus, again Nödul spoke: For those with special realization, space is the nature of phenomena, the nature of phenomena is the nature of mind, the nature of the expanse does not go beyond the meaning of pervading all. For those without realization, it is not the nature of phenomena, the nature of mind, the nature of the expanse, and space pervading all. For those with realization, space arises merely as a designation from samadhi and the flowing in and out of letters. By the blessing of samadhi. Heruka blessed with the two letters. From the seed-syllable in his heart, a blue letter ཁྃ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) flowed out and became a great ocean. Again, from the seed-syllable in his heart, a green letter ཡྂ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) flowed out. From the four directions of east, south, west, and north, that ocean of the wind of existence was stirred, and an egg that could appear arose. That egg, the east was white, the south was blue, the west was red, the north was yellow, and the center was black. That egg arose in five parts, the four directions and the center, and there was something like an iron door that could not be opened. From within that, a sound called "I" arose. It is an egg. The chapter on the arising of the egg from the flowing in and out of letters, the second chapter. Then, that egg cracked open. The center is called the middle. Above, cracking upwards, a black sheep with various faces arose. From the east cracking open, a white sheep with a vermillion face arose. From the south cracking open, a blue sheep with a golden face arose. From the west cracking open, a red sheep with a conch-shell face arose. From the north cracking open, a yellow sheep with a turquoise face arose. At first, what arose from the egg was a sheep, therefore it is called a sheep. The chapter on the origin of the sheep, the third chapter. Above, the black sheep, with Kuntuzangmo and others, fulfilled the samaya of the black assembly. The white sheep of the east, with Vairochana and others, fulfilled the samaya of the white assembly. The blue sheep of the south, blue
