Lord of Lanka, Emaho! Secret Lord, this is what I have heard, I have heard the supreme hearing! The most excellent of hearings! Secret Lord, if one sees the suffering of complete ignorance being pacified, it is said to occur even when the lamp is completely extinguished, how is this known? In this realm of the Saha world, is this complete passing away now called the extinguishing of the lamp? Is this passing away only the extinguishing of the lamp of this single realm of the Saha world, is it the Buddha's nirvana? Or in all the realms of the world, in how many realms will the Buddhas who have extinguished the lamp pass into nirvana? When asked this, the Secret Lord said: Lord of Lanka, what do you think? This is also called the extinguishing of the lamp, and the passing away now, let alone the Buddhas of all realms, let alone even billions of hundreds of millions of Jambudvipa Buddhas! Just consider that one Buddha of one Jambudvipa has completely passed into nirvana! Why is that? Because this realm is the realm of only one emanation Buddha. Likewise, countless Buddhas are doing the work of lamps in immeasurable worlds. Those should be regarded in the same way as emanation Buddhas. Then, the Lord of Lanka, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, asked: Secret Lord, this single emanation Buddha of the Jambudvipa of the Saha world who has passed into nirvana, whose emanation should this be considered? The Secret Lord said: Lord of Lanka, this should be considered as only one emanation from the inconceivable emanations of Vajrasattva! He said: Secret Lord, if in this realm he is known as Shakyamuni, how should this be fully understood? He said: Lord of Lanka, that is just another name for the emanation of Vajrasattva. Lord of Lanka, why is that? Because the inconceivable emanation of Vajrasattva has completely destroyed the inconceivable armies of samsara, therefore he is known as the Great Hero. Just as in the ten directions of the six worlds, he is also known as the Great Hero.

In the realm of hell, he is known as the Great Mighty Dharma King. Moreover, O Lord of Delightful Laughter, just as it is desired, in the ten directions of the six realms of the Sahā world, the lamp of the six mighty ones is fully manifest. Likewise, in the dust-like realms of inconceivable worlds, in the boundless ten directions of the six realms, countless dust-like lamps of the six mighty ones also appear, like this: In the east, beyond twelve thousand four-continent worlds, there is a world called Immaculate, that buddha-field is entirely made of various jewels. The beings dwelling there have life and resources equal to those of the Thirty-Three. There is no death in the bardo, and only miraculous birth, and all desires are fulfilled as they are thought of. There is no giving there, no generosity, and no receiver or beggar. When they hear of giving and begging in other world realms, they greatly admire it. There, the emanation of Vajrasattva, the Lord of the World, appears as the Tathagata Shakyamuni Immaculate Sound, revealing the clear light of the mandala of the mind of the Great Vehicle Dharma, and the great lamp of the very essence of secret mantra is fully manifest. Likewise, in the ten directions of those six realms, the lamp of the six mighty ones appears, making the mandala of the minds of the six kinds of beings fully clear. Furthermore, the Lord of the World, in the south, beyond one hundred thousand world realms, in a world called Source of Qualities, the Tathagata Shakyamuni emanates as Jewel Cloud, revealing the clear light of the mandala of the mind, and the very essence of secret mantra.

Similarly, in the ten directions of those six realms, the light of the six Thubpas appears, illuminating the mandala of the mind. Furthermore, that Lord of Sages, in the northern world, after passing thirty thousand worlds, in a world called "Without Anxiety," he manifests as the Tathagata Shakyamuni, the Lion's Roar, and reveals the luminous mandala of the mind, which is the very essence of secret mantra. Similarly, in the ten directions of those six realms, the light of the six Thubpas appears, illuminating the mandala of the minds of the six beings. In the northeastern world, after passing forty-four thousand worlds, in a world called "Eliminating Suffering," he manifests as the Tathagata Shakyamuni, the King of Compassion, and teaches the Dharma as before. Similarly, in a world called "Vairochana's World," the Buddha
