If that which has matured, then killing also matures, which is because the demon of the gods or the demon of the lord of death interrupts it. Like that, now being interrupted by the three poisons and four demons, so wandering in the three realms, wandering intensely, merely enduring the suffering of afflictions, the co-emergent wisdom appears as great bliss, existing in great bliss. This is like when rays of light spread in all directions from the essence of the sun, although it appears to be obscured by clouds and mist, in reality it is the light itself obscuring, the light itself extinguishing, the essence of the sun never diminishing, never extinguishing, and never appearing. Similarly, from the co-emergent wisdom, which is unborn, the unceasing mind arises, when the mind is bound and tormented by the suffering of afflictions, the co-emergent wisdom has never experienced the kneading of suffering, so it is also called experiencing happiness. That is how it is separated. The two teachings on the nature of reality are: the time when sentient beings abide and the time when one abides as a Buddha. The time when sentient beings abide is: being afflicted, the mind thinks of itself, separating and wandering because one does not recognize oneself, so now abiding as a sentient being, because afflictions constantly bring suffering, so not even for a moment experiencing the bliss of co-emergence. The time when one abides as a Buddha is: being afflicted, the mind thinks of itself, recognizing ignorance because one does not recognize oneself, when the suffering of afflictions appears as happiness, from all to all, the bliss of co-emergence is constant, not even seeing the name of samsara, so it is called abiding in co-emergence. The two teachings on going are: going by means and going by wisdom. Among them, going by means is: taking the great means of secret mantra, the swift means, the vast means, the numerous means, the profound means, and the skillful means as the path, going to co-emergence. Going by wisdom is: completely cutting off the branches, recognizing the essence of bodhicitta, abiding without wavering from the sphere of wisdom without elaboration, this is taking wisdom as the path, going all at once. This key instruction on cutting off the root of separation, from Vairochana to Yaza Ningpo, sealed and kept as a treasure in a pure and undefiled state. One who breaks the samaya will fall. Again, entrusting the treasure of empowerment to the treasure opener.
