The Sutra School master is: Yeshe Char (Wisdom Rain). Great wisdom arises from behind, which means dwelling in non-discrimination and meditating for a long time, gradually reducing the disturbances of afflictive thoughts. For example, just as when muddy water clears, reflections of faces and so on become clear, similarly, when one remains in non-discrimination for a while, thoughts merely reveal the basis of non-discrimination. All phenomena are like placing a fresh Emblica fruit in the palm of one's hand, or like a clear reflection of a face in a clean mirror, one clearly realizes that it is like the sun rising in a cloudless sky. Revealing great wisdom in a single light is called great wisdom arising from behind, because it arises later, it is called "behind." That wisdom is believed to be attained by relying on three countless eons. Great wisdom arising from the front is the view of the outer tantras, which means that right now, from the Akanishta heaven, the Victorious One and his retinue are invited, residing in the sky in front, and one prostrates to them, makes offerings, receives siddhis, and so on, extending one's arms. The deities grant siddhis as if offering them. Realizing and generating wisdom from the three purities is called great wisdom arising from the front, appearing as if one has obtained siddhis from the deities in front. Great wisdom arising from within is the inner tantra, the vehicle of empowerment and skillful means, namely, essence (ngang), nature (rangbzhin), and great self (bdagnyid chenmo). Essence refers to all that appears as the form of beings. Nature refers to all phenomena not transcending their own nature. Great self refers to all of these not transcending one's own bodhicitta, and since there is not even a particle of dharma apart from the mind, all phenomena are absorbed into its self-nature. Therefore, self is exhausted in self, the master of all dharmata. Therefore, it is called self, all phenomena are absorbed into the three kayas of essence, nature, and great self, and the great wisdom of awareness that arises from oneself is called wisdom arising from within, which means oneself knowing oneself. Furthermore, the outer tantras require seven lifetimes to attain it, while the inner tantras can attain it in one lifetime. Moreover, if one moistens with diligence and seeks meaning with the vessel (of teachings), it can be achieved in one year, half a year, or a dozen months.

Because it transforms into the essence of the five families, it is the Sambhogakaya. From that, in order to tame the trainable, it emanates as desired, it is the Nirmanakaya. The four wisdoms abide as: all dharmas are subdued and undifferentiated, it is the wisdom of equality. All dharmas abide clearly and unmixed, it is the wisdom of discernment. All dharmas appear and knowing them to be without self-nature, it is the mirror-like wisdom. Knowing that all dharmas are primordially spontaneously present, it is the wisdom of accomplishing activities. The two truths abide as: in the relative, all dharmas of samsara and nirvana are thought to appear individually from the edge of dependent origination. In the ultimate, without self-nature and true, therefore it is called the abiding of the two truths. Therefore it is called the wheel of abiding. It is called the wheel of existence abiding in the center, the center is occupied by the three existences, namely the six realms of beings, the five paths, the four births, and so on. Because it is liberated from the three existences, therefore it is called the wheel of existence. The emanation wheel is: the appearance as the six realms of beings itself is the emanation of one's own mind. Thus, knowing that all dharmas are emanations of the mind, therefore it is called the emanation wheel. The cutting wheel is: the ten wheels of activity are held in the hand, the wheel of existence is held with both hands. The ten wheels of activity held in the hand are, called the wheel of karma and held. That is, pacifying activity is done above the sun and moon, increasing activity is done on the back of an elephant, magnetizing activity is done in the heart of non-greed, subjugating activity is done in the mouth of Yama, subduing activity is done on the back of a lion, expelling activity is done on the back of a goat, separating activity is done on the back of a horse and buffalo, imprisoning activity is done in the palm of the hand, maddening activity is done on the back of a deer, and suppressing activity is done inside Mount Meru. Thus, these ten activities, because they can cut, therefore it is called the cutting wheel. Pacifying activity cuts off the eight fears, increasing activity cuts off the obstacles to wealth, magnetizing activity cuts off the four desires, and fierce activity cuts off enemies and obstacles. Therefore it is called the cutting wheel. Thus, contemplating and practicing the four wheels, the two views and practices are perfected and one becomes a Buddha.
