If the horse is not released, there will be three faults: the fault of being deceived by spirits, the fault of the power of the mantra diminishing, and the fault of a great drought occurring in the future, so the horse must be released. There, if the hail protection and the local deity are not in harmony, due to bad omens and short life, perform ransom offerings and water offerings. If you make it very harmonious, you will become long-lived. Thus it is said. The third chapter, the instructions given. Then, again it was taught: For the hail protection instructions: First, the mantra of the practice, the mantras of the eight directions. The mantras of the four directions and eight intermediate directions, first recite a hundred thousand times. After that is completed, the ritual to combine with the practice is: First, collect the essence from unowned land. Make three parts of torma from yogurt and milk. Finally, offer the essence of various crops to the obstacle torma. Pray that hail will not fall this year. The three parts of the torma ritual should be in accordance with the common ritual. Then, dispel the obstacles with Sumba and cut off the boundaries, and offer the torma.
