Herein is the root tantra of all evil Moon Secret Black. In Sanskrit: Śrīcandra Guhyakāla Tantra. In Tibetan: The Glorious Moon Secret Black Tantra. Homage to Mañjuśrī Yamāntaka. Thus have I heard at one time. Mañjuśrī Yamāntaka, the supreme deity, was in the great charnel ground called Fierce Forest, the realm of Yama in the south. Its expanse was immeasurable, its foundation appeared as gold, its walls appeared as lapis lazuli, its peak appeared as meteoric iron. Adorned with wheels, hung with banners. The light of the wheels and meteoric iron radiated in all directions. Light and rays of light were intensely mingled. Great offerings and great bones, the throwing of very fine offerings. On the pillars of great corpses were makara-headed capitals. It had wheel-burning pillar bases. Sparks of meteoric iron lightning flashed. Protrusions of stacked skulls. Banners of great fields, and makara victory banners, parasols, and glorious streamers spread in all directions. Red citta was dense as clouds. The peak was adorned with various fire mountains. There were charnel grounds of skeletons, and mansions of meteoric iron, and palaces of wheels, and charnel grounds of decaying corpses, and so forth, there were thousands of charnel ground places. There were mirrors of the sun's fire, mirrors of the moon's water, and the heights of the starlight. Adorned with many planets and stars. There were waves of great oceans, and shadows of black winds, and mountains of skeletons, and waves of fire mountains. Surrounded by a black iron fence, in such a place, many corpses of the charnel ground were piled up. Completely filled with impurity, completely rotten corpses, half-rotten corpses, corpses, completely rotten red corpses, complete corpses, stiff corpses, completely stiff corpses, half skeletons, bones falling off, shrunken, completely shrunken, standing, supine, prone, fallen.
