The Tantra of the Gathering of All Sugatas, called the Key Tantra that Thoroughly Explains. In Sanskrit: Bhagavan Sarva Sugata Samudaye Tantra Prabheda Kujnika Tantra Nama. In Tibetan: The Tantra of the Gathering of All Sugatas, called the Key Tantra that Thoroughly Explains. Homage to Bhagavan, Glorious Samantabhadra. Thus have I heard at one time. The Bhagavan, Glorious Samantabhadra, and the Mother Samantabhadri, together with an immeasurable retinue of Sugatas, in the spontaneously accomplished Akaniṣṭha realm, without end or center, beyond measure, vast and boundless, in a palace of blazing jewels of wisdom, filled with immeasurable qualities, in a great and utterly pure palace. The Sugatas were abiding like a sesame pod, and in the great assembly that had gathered, the Bhagavan, Glorious Samantabhadra, having entered into the samadhi of the equality of the nature of all dharmas, free from elaboration, spontaneously accomplished, spoke these words: All dharmas are unborn, Abiding in the state of equality, Yet through the illusory nature of convention, From the unborn, non-ceasing is seen. By the vajra-like samadhi, All are one in bodhicitta. Appearances are diverse and various, One and many are beyond expression. Alas, alas! The nature of bodhicitta, From one essence, different appearances arise. Example and meaning are equally spontaneously accomplished, Like the sky, difficult to fathom, From nothing, everything appears. Samsara itself is nirvana, Ignorance itself is the true path. Discrimination itself is the dharmakaya, Unborn is the basis, Non-ceasing appearance is the path. Spontaneous accomplishment is the fruit, There is no place of birth or change. In the vajra-like view, Through the blessing of great compassion, Although the bodies of the victors pervade the three thousand worlds, Yet bodhicitta is unmoved. Like the sky and the rainbow. The causes and effects of the happiness and suffering of samsara, The bodies of the Sugatas and the assemblies of wisdom, Are all one in the essence of bodhicitta. Bodhicitta has no birth or death.
