The Tantra Called The Precious Wheel of the Mind of Enlightenment. In Sanskrit: Bodhisattva Ratna Chakra Tantra Nama. In Tibetan: The Tantra Called The Precious Wheel of the Mind of Enlightenment. Homage to the Wheel of the Mind of Enlightenment, Perfect Wisdom. Thus I have heard, at one time, in the realm of Akanishta, in the great expanse of Mind Itself, the Self-Originated Perfect Bhagavan abided in the meaning of Self-Origination. Moreover, at that time, the great maturing circle was such that: abiding by its own nature, contemplating its own nature, great realization by its own nature, only the manifest joy of the great meaning of perfect self-nature was gathered. Then, the King of Awareness entered into various inconceivable samadhis. At that time, the assembled gathering saw everything as self-originated. Then, the Bhagavan, the King of Awareness, spoke thus: Self-originated purity, primordial Buddha, Dharma and Dharmata, various aspects, is Awareness itself, completely pure. O maturing circle assembly, through your own mind, view the various self-originations as such. Thus he spoke. Then, from within the great maturing circle, Vajrasattva arose and requested thus: Awareness, completely pure, Bhagavan, Body and Speech, perfect great wisdom, Activity in the ten directions, without limit, Compassion, self-appearing, without partiality, Great equanimity, Samantabhadra, From the mandala of supreme Awareness, With perfect wisdom, great skillful means, Having opened the door of clear wisdom, From the glorious throat, proclaiming the voice, Clearly speak to the assembled circle. Thus he requested. Then, the King of Awareness spoke thus to Vajrasattva: Wisdom, perfect, great bliss, Limitless, endowed in all beings, Awareness, inseparable, Samantabhadra, Not anything, but clear as Awareness, Free from effort, mind, manifest enlightenment, Cause and effect, without duality, free from change, Various appearances, consciousness abiding in its own place, See it through the two actions. Whatever aspect of consciousness arises, Other than pure self-nature, there is not. Know at the time of the inconceivable. The consciousness of samsara is adventitious. Not self-nature, appearing through conditions. Like the pleasantness of speech itself. Conceptual thought.

The very nature of mind, However it is posited, see it as it is. Various kinds of thoughts, Flow through all the doors, Like one person facing many windows. It is not the manifestation of diverse meanings, In this indivisible mandala of awareness, With the meaning of view free from extremes, Settle in the self-abiding contemplation. Self-born compassion, unwavering, Accomplishes the benefit of all beings completely. The spontaneously accomplished fruit of the three kayas, Is not other, but perfects itself. Are the faculties of the six realms determined, Or is there still room for training? From whichever door of the mind's aspects, Having settled in the authority of the general outpouring, Receive the oral transmission of instructions. Having settled on the path without traveling, Increase the qualities of non-training. With the self-born wisdom of immediate, simultaneous entry, The supremely great and sublime Dharmakaya, Unsought, eternal, manifestly enlightened. Whatever beings' awareness may come, Settle in the state of non-thought. When the self-nature of awareness arises spontaneously, And the three times become unmoving and transformed, The wisdom of the Victorious Ones reaches its ultimate clarity. Thus it is said. From "The Precious Wheel of Bodhicitta," the first chapter, the introduction. Then, the King of Awareness spoke thus to the hero Vajra: The various thoughts of samsara, And the very nature of perfect wisdom are one. Perfect wisdom is realization itself, Whatever realization is, is wisdom itself. There is no difference, The very nature of perfect wisdom, Has the essence of abandoning all, encompassing all. These thoughts of manifold grasping, Are called Bodhicitta. For the very nature of the inexpressible mind, Without expression, it cannot be understood, Therefore, symbolize it with inexpressible meaning. In the pureness of the mind of Samantabhadra, There is neither designator nor designated, It is symbolized by its own nature, without seeking. The ordinary appearing consciousnesses, Having remembered with the wisdom of the teachings, Settle in the state of non-acceptance and non-rejection. Do not conceptualize, abandon activity; Do not analyze with the intellect, self-nature is clear. It is neither the cause nor the effect of grasping, The fruit itself accomplishes the fruit. Hope and effort turn into extremes, The non-grasping nature, like a great medicine, Is separated from all chronic diseases of samsara. Conceptual thought is the clear light of wisdom itself, The self-abiding wisdom is primordially pure, Like a precious, pure island.
