Free from elaboration. Transcending location, therefore there is no action. Spontaneously accomplished, therefore there is no effort or practice. Unwavering mindfulness, therefore free from elaboration. Mantras and mudras are completely pure. In the state of emptiness, there are no offerings or confessions. Within the vast expanse of samsara and nirvana, the four activities are inherently complete. Subduing the nine levels of heretics. The five paths and ten perfections are complete. Samsara and nirvana are complete in the bodhichitta. Appearance and existence are complete in the single bindu. The foundation of mindfulness is fully established. There are no limitations or partiality. From the Tantra of No Letters, Equal to Space, the Sixth Chapter: The Treasury of Space. Then, the Bhagavan spoke: In the great bliss of self-awareness, there is no duality of meditation and non-meditation. Merely words, ultimately it is great bliss, uncreated, unfettered, liberated in its own place. Mindfulness is self-liberated, in the expanse of great bliss. Just relaxing, naturally. Merely a name, it is called meditation. When mindfulness and awareness are uninterrupted, the grasping consciousness is liberated from objects. Unborn, uncreated, without movement. Free from elaboration, beyond thought, an unspeakable fortress. Equality, completely pure, a vast expanse. Wisdom like space, spontaneously accomplished. Not sought, naturally abiding, without turbidity. Spontaneously accomplished, free from seeking action with conceptual thought. From the wisdom that is primordially self-arisen, confusion and non-confusion are beyond conceptualization. In the wisdom of meaning that transcends conceptualization, there is no dharma nature separate as something to be meditated upon. Establishing meditation as a name is a mistake. If it transcends speech and thought, meditating on non-conceptualization as the antidote to conceptual thought. That itself is great conceptualization. What is seen and felt arises in that expanse. Not focusing on it in the mind, great bliss. From the Tantra of No Letters, Equal to Space, the Seventh Chapter: The Clarity of Great Bliss. Then, the Bhagavan spoke: Wisdom without acceptance or rejection is, the unborn, unceasing expanse of dharma nature. Free from action, spontaneously perfect, beyond mind. Ema, even though abiding in oneself, wanting to attain it through practice, ema, truly confused. In the wisdom free from the actor, Buddha and sentient beings are non-dual, how can it be transformed by the path? Why, in the absence of rejection and establishment, is there no boasting, desire, attachment, hope, and doubt? This is a wondrous, marvelous, amazing play. If constant, it is constantly in great bliss. If severed, samsara is severed from the root. If immersed, it is immersed in the realm of dharma nature. If wild, it is wild in the play of wisdom. If equal, it is equal in inequality.

When it dissolves, illusory phenomena dissolve into the nature of reality. The meaning of unborn is the single letter (seed syllable). Like the actionless sky, there are no letters. The absence of letters is the supreme of all tantras. Ema! Pure, free from seeking action. From the state of actionlessness, one plays freely. Whatever one enjoys, it does not deviate from the meaning. If one understands self-liberation, it is called merely enjoying nominal terms. From the tantra of no letters, which is equal to the sky, the eighth chapter is the blazing of conceptual thought into wisdom. Then, the Bhagavan spoke: The ground of meaning, unborn from the beginning, transcends all realms of attainment and practice, and is liberated from the mind of hope and doubt. The realm of understanding is great bliss. The essence of clear essence is the realm of self-nature. In the purity of self-nature, play arises without obstruction. In the great nature of non-duality, thought dissolves into the realm of reality. Non-conceptual equality is the Dharmakaya, great bliss is the Sambhogakaya, spontaneous manifestation is the Nirmanakaya, and non-separation is the Vajrakaya. Are these not merely verbal expressions? Originally, in the heart of enlightenment, the realm is not moved by the thought of seeking. Body and wisdom are liberated from words, and after liberation, they also show the path of liberation. In the realm of the heart, liberation is realized, and direct perception and inference are mistaken. It is not the object of thought. Why? Because it is free from seeking action. The born and the unborn are beyond the mind. Liberated from the limits of sound and words, emptiness wisdom appears in the essence of the heart. From the tantra of no letters, which is equal to the sky, the ninth chapter of Suchness. Then, the Bhagavan spoke: Everything is Bodhicitta, because there is consciousness of grasping, therefore, feeling is experienced. Appearance is the adornment of mind itself, and the bardo of appearance increases emptiness. Because meditation and sleep have the same taste, the bardo of dreams is purified. Because the meaning of no birth and death is understood, the bardo of dying is the realm of great bliss. Because one obtains the supreme bliss in the future, one does not take a body in the bardo of existence. The body without a body is the supreme of bodies. It is the Nirmanakaya, which is purified. Even the yoga of devotion without realization, if it is under the power of karma, it will continue the karma of supreme bliss. If one is liberated from karma, it is the supreme of liberation. No matter how many words are spoken, if it is separate from the mind, it does not exist. It is neither male nor female, nor hermaphrodite, without color, shape, or characteristics. Passed away
