The Tantra called "The Precious Wheel." In Sanskrit: Ratna Chakra Nama Tantra. In Tibetan: The Tantra called "The Precious Wheel." Homage to the Great Lord of Secrets! The teacher of the doctrine, the retinue's place, the time, with five great wondrous words, the Great Lord of Secrets spoke to Vajrasattva and others: Buddhas and sentient beings are fundamentally one, yet they grasp outer and inner vessels and essences as two. Wisdom and delusion appear as two. Wandering in darkness, the meaning is unclear. From one, two doors arise. One experiences the fruits of six. Without a name, one is deluded by the force of karma. Wandering in the realm of the precious wheel. Appearance and non-appearance are mistaken for form. Thus he spoke, and Vajrasattva asked again: Buddhas and sentient beings are fundamentally one. The characteristics of the consciousness of dualistic appearance, are they one or different? Thus he asked, and the Great Lord of Secrets replied: From the general ground of the unnamed, appear the two, pure and impure. Although the characteristics appear as two, in the unnamed, the general ground is one. Without one, there is no two. For example, like camphor, medicine, and poison. Not poison, not medicine, but camphor is the general ground. Depending on conditions, it is either medicine or poison. In the general ground of the unnamed, two doors of arising occur. The door of arising of ignorance and delusion, and the door of arising of awareness and wisdom. Both arise from that general ground. From the difference between good and bad delusion, the two, realization and non-realization, appear. The Lord of Secrets is primordially enlightened. Having realized, one becomes the Dharmakaya Buddha. Having meditated, one becomes the Sambhogakaya Buddha. Having listened, one becomes the Nirmanakaya Buddha. The three bodies appear in pure realms. That consciousness of non-realization and delusion, in the chamber of light of the Alaya, from the delusion of ignorance, arises the mind of subtle thoughts. From the thoughts of the mind, one seeks anger. Pleasant and unpleasant thoughts arise. From the experience of pleasant thoughts, craving arises, unable to separate. The thought of unpleasantness arises. From unpleasant thoughts, one seeks anger in the mind. The thought of "I" arises. Pleasure and pain remain long in the mind. The two, clarity and non-clarity, arise. From clarity and non-clarity, mental discrimination arises. Light-form and species-form arise. The essence of awareness is emptiness.

Possessing. The treasure of all arising precious jewels, the enjoyment of all desires is inexhaustible, the basis for the manifestation of all fruits. I, the great secret lord, will explain, Vajrasattva, listen carefully. Thus he spoke. From the Tantra of the Precious Wheel, the first chapter, the introduction. Following the words of that request, from the nature of the great secret lord, Vajrasattva again requested, In the common ground of the basis of all, the two doors of manifestation arise, are they made or do they arise? If they are made, they are compounded things, and all practices become meaningless. If it is the nature of arising, does it arise from itself or from another? After this request, the great secret lord replied, Like the nature of camphor,

Ka. Look into the arising and entering, both internal and external. Thus it was said. So. From the Precious Wheel Tantra, the second chapter, which explains the nature of delusion. After these words of supplication, Vajra Sattva again supplicated: The characteristics of the ground and delusion, what kind of similar example can illustrate them? What is the difference between the ground and delusion? How can the root of delusion be completely severed? After hearing these words of supplication, the great Lord of Secrets replied: The ground is known as the aspect of the alaya. Delusion is the mind that seeks everywhere. The ground is what has always been there. Delusion is the sudden arising of mental thoughts. The ground is the cause of awareness. Delusion appears as fragments of conceptual thought. The examples are mirages, ropes, and tree stumps, from which the delusions of water, snakes, and people arise. It is free from fabrication, adulteration, increase, decrease, cause, and condition. It has no change, seeking, or transformation. It is without substance, un fabricated, and spontaneously accomplished. It does not depend on sudden dharmas. The meaning of un fabricated, un adulterated, and un sought is that it is liberated from minds with grasping. The alaya consciousness is the basis of ignorance. The co emergent ignorance is the basis of the mind's consciousness. The consciousness of the moving mind is the basis of the afflicted mind. The consciousness of the moving afflictions is the basis of the five sense consciousnesses. The two minds of external and internal looking sever delusion as non existent on the ground. Thus it was said. From the Precious Wheel Tantra, the third chapter, which severs the root of delusion. After these words of supplication, Vajra Sattva again supplicated: The methods for eliminating and reversing delusion, are there special dharmas? After hearing these words of supplication, the great Lord of Secrets replied: If you eliminate delusion, eliminate it directly. If you reverse delusion, reverse it from the cause. When the five senses are clear on their objects, reverse it by knowing the nature of appearance. When the five afflictions are clear, reverse it by knowing that it is a sudden delusion. When the mind looks inward, reverse it by knowing that it is the mind's grasping. Doubt true dharmas, and grasp untrue dharmas as true. When the wisdom of knowing truth and falsehood arises, reverse it by knowing that ignorance is delusion. When you do not know or are not clear about anything, reverse it by the instructions entering your being. If you do not block or cultivate what appears, then you are eliminating external delusion. If you do not engage with the object even when it is clear, then you are eliminating the delusion of the basis. That
