Chapter Two, the Questioning Chapter. Then, Samantabhadra said: Things are the self-light of the Dharmakāya (ཆོས་སྐུ།). If things exist outside, then the six consciousnesses will have no difference. The power of Bodhicitta manifests, and the self-light manifests on the face of the five poisons. The power of unborn wisdom manifests, and the nature of mind becomes breath and air. The power of karma wind manifests differently, and flesh and blood are the self-light of the Dharmakāya. Concluding with the joy of Rolaṅ. Chapter Twelve. Finished. In Tibetan: Wisdom Adornment Self-Burning. Victorious and auspicious Samantabhadra 100, the pervasive absence of manifestation, is the true realm of reality. The unchanging body, the compassion without things, the sound of great wisdom, the great self-born continuity. The manifestation without things, the awareness without self, the clarity without bias, the self-arising without effort. Worldly and transcendental, habitual tendencies appear as aggregates, the contaminated body appears as a tree of birth. When the movement of breath ceases, it is called birth and death. Called worldly, it is the desire of views clinging to meditation. Actions are suffering and uncertain, from the river of birth, aging, sickness, and death, those who do not cross or pass over are worldly. The various sounds of the unreal cycle, habitual tendencies are not fixed on the body. The action called Nirvana is also, the view is selflessness, meditation is without things. Practicing white is practicing for the benefit of oneself and others, and also from the four rivers of birth, aging, sickness, and death, crossing and passing over is transcendental. The difference of Samadhi is not fixed. The essence of mind, the basis of everything, the vast pervasiveness, if distinguished from the gate of different words, there are two. Outsiders, insiders, Buddhists, all conditioned phenomena are like impermanent clouds. The Dharma of Samsara is like the source of painful life. The emptiness that appears as things is like an image in water. The selflessness on the object and subject is like sunlight 101༄༅། །. If one understands and realizes in this way, one is an inner Buddhist. If one does not realize and clings to the extremes of permanence and annihilation, one is an outsider. If one observes the Dharma of outsiders, although countless, they can be summarized as these two: permanence and annihilation.

Countless views that cling to permanence, when summarized, become the self as permanent, established as the nature of things. It does not change in the second instant, possessing the nature of being functional. To this, Vajrasattva also said: This vast expanse of awareness, the very nature of bodhichitta, is a clear light of wisdom, without cause or condition. Awareness without substance, radiating light. To this, if someone clings to a self, alas, how pitiful! Thus it is said. Countless views of nihilistic extremists, when summarized, are that this life has no past or future, it is sudden. There is no good or bad in karma, and no cause and effect in dharma. For example, like the wind carrying away the ashes of a burnt Lha-kha. If you want to become a Buddha, you must accumulate merit for eons. For a sudden life, there is no concept of eons. Therefore, the Buddha's teachings appear false. To this, Vajrasattva said: Life itself is the proof of what came before. A young child, with a rosy complexion, sucking milk, is the habit that existed before. If the past has disappeared and suddenly completely transformed, then awareness should arise in earth, stones, and so on. The proof that the future will arise is: All sentient beings in the three realms, through the uncertain experience of pleasure and pain, prove that the future will arise. If there is no future, and pleasure and pain can be experienced at will, then the clouds in the sky must also have pleasure and pain. Why? Because if it can be experienced at will, then the clouds in the sky also arise suddenly. Then Samantabhadra said: Because the mind has no substance, it is the Buddha of the past. Without cause or condition, it is the self-born Buddha of the present. Without antidote, it is the self-born Buddha of the future. Without beginning or end, it pervades the dharmadhatu. Without change, destruction, or separation, it is the Buddha's body of the three times. Foolish, ignorant, and behaving perversely, you are satisfied with the Dharma as a means of enlightenment. Thus it is said. From the self-igniting splendor of wisdom, arises the chapter on debating terms, this is the first chapter. Then, the Tathagata spoke this Dharma that cuts through all exaggerations and diminutions of all dharmas. From the beginning, the essence is inseparable, all vehicles are gathered into two. All exaggerations and slanders are liberated in the realm of wisdom. Extremely vast, pervading the dharmadhatu. Compassion is the Dharma, without partiality. If you understand and realize this, it is the Great Vehicle. The very nature of beings' minds.
