Thus I have heard. For the fruit, the insubstantial Zang Ka, all dharmas inherently abide in the state of primordial purity. As previously stated, they merge into space and do not transcend it.724.2 dharmas. From the beginningless, unborn, primordially pure. Hope and fear, wishes, nothing to do, accomplished in oneself. Thus the fruit is shown. From the tantra of the unborn, primordially pure, the chapter on extracting the essence of the heart, the method of realization, is the seventh. Then, the insubstantial Zang Ka asked the teacher who expounds the unborn, primordially pure: How is the unborn, primordially pure attained? After asking this, the teacher declared to the assembly: In the state of the unborn, primordially pure, there is no attainment or non-attainment.724.4 To generate joy in the assembly, it is said to be attained. Not born, not ceasing, is the unborn. Without boundaries, it abides in self-illumination. Clear and transparent, unwavering, it merges into the space of the unborn.724.5 In that very state, it is said to be attained. The realms of afflictions are primordially pure from the beginning. There is no obscuration, no darkness of ignorance. Habits, attachment, and aversion are primordially pure from the beginning. Self-purified, self-luminous, self-awakened, there is no fault or obscuration whatsoever.724.6 Clear and pure, luminous clarity, primordially pure, without stain. Deeply clear, openly clear, clear and pure, the grasped and the grasper are pure. Suchness is pure, truly pure, completely pure. Whoever realizes this, it is said to have attained primordial purity. Thus it is said.725725.1 From the tantra of the unborn, primordially pure, the chapter on attaining the unborn, primordially pure, the immaculate, insubstantial, primordially pure, is the eighth. Then, the insubstantial Zang Ka asked the unborn, primordially pure Dharmakaya: How should the name of this tantra be held? After asking this, the teacher declared to the assembly: Because nothing is born, it is without name, therefore it is called the Tantra of the Unborn. Because the habits of ignorance are primordially pure, it is called the Primordially Pure, Immaculate Tantra.725.3 Without obstruction, luminous, clear, and bright. The single eye of primordial wisdom, without stain. Primordially pure, like a crystal ball, like the sun and moon. Discursive thoughts, obscurations, afflictions are purified. The nature is clear, the luminous tantra. The unborn,725.4 primordially pure Dharmakaya abides in Zang Ka. It is called the Primordially Pure Zang Ka Tantra. Thus it is said. From the Primordially Pure Zang Ka Tantra, the chapter on declaring the name is the ninth. Then, the insubstantial Zang Ka asked the teacher who expounds the unborn, primordially pure: To whom should this tantra be entrusted? After asking this, the teacher declared to the assembly: The disciple to whom this tantra should be entrusted is one whose words do not change, like Mount Meru. Whose samaya is like a crystal ball, like a lotus.

One's own continuum is like the white silk of Lha-breng, Superior wisdom is like a razor and a sword, Respectful to the Guru, possessing virtuous mind and samaya, Holding the treasure of instructions, not abandoning aspirations. To such a disciple, This unborn, primordially pure tantra.
