The Fourth Chapter: Showing the Meaning of Zang. Then, Non-existent Zangka asked the unborn, primordially pure teacher, Dharmakaya: How do you explain the non-existent, beyond-mind? Then the Teacher spoke to the assembly: Although the non-existent, beyond-mind cannot be explained, I will explain it to the fortunate assembly with the lamp of true words. Explain a dharma that is beyond action and seeking, beyond mind. Explain a dharma that is without object and mind. Explain a dharma that is without desire. Explain a dharma that is without effort. Explain a dharma that is unmixed and complete. Explain a dharma of great spontaneity. Explain a dharma that is clear, pure, and self-liberated. Explain a dharma that is self-born and self-aware. Explain a dharma that is sudden, naturally clear, and without object. Explain an unborn, primordially pure dharma. Explain a dharma of non-existent Zangka. Explain a dharma that is the first foundation. Explain a dharma that is free from action and naturally abiding. Explain a dharma that is the end of dharma and the end of mind. Explain a dharma that is without mind and non-existent. Explain a dharma that is without knowledge and without body. Explain a dharma that is without appearance and impermanent. Explain a dharma that is completely free from all extremes of elaboration. Explain a dharma that is a collection of various things. Explain a dharma that is without one and exhausted. Explain a dharma that leads to the place of meeting and saves to the place of salvation. Explain a dharma of non-existent, all-arising, and various things. Explain the realization of all that is not one, not symbolized, and not spoken. The body of the Buddhas, the five wisdoms, the five enlightenments, the vehicles, the doctrines, the tenets, the terms, and the names are all conceptual, but in reality they cannot be expressed. Abandon the dharma and become a Buddha, realize the unknowing, primordially pure. Become a Buddha without mind, without intention, and without appearance. Without symbol, without example, without explanation, and without substance. All that appears, existence, samsara, nirvana, existence, non-existence, and all that exists, explain the dharma of the essence of the unborn, primordially pure, beyond-mind, and non-existent. Explain the only nature that is free from all terms and inexpressible. It is not an explanation, it is beyond words to express. One dharma is not explained, one dharma is without substance. It is not non-existence, it is empty and clear, and all extremes are liberated. So he asked. The Fifth Chapter: The Method of Explaining the Non-existent. Then, Non-existent Zangka asked the unborn, primordially pure Dharmakaya: How can one realize the most excellent primordial purity? Then the Teacher spoke to the assembly: The most excellent fortunate yogi, without deviating from the meaning as before, should

Realize the unborn, primordially pure, and substantially non-existent Zang Ka. The meanings of the above teachings blend with the mind. Self-arisen, without bias, dissolves into its own ground. Clear and empty, without appearance, without object or mind. Cut through delusion, without grasping, appearances are pure. Outer and inner are pure, without duality of mind. Spontaneously arising natural clarity dissolves into the expanse. Dualistic appearances, desires, and all actions are not understood. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of Primordial Purity. Also, the sixth chapter, the Chapter on Excellent Teachings. Then, substantially non-existent Zang Ka, On the unborn, primordially pure Dharmakaya, How is the method of realization, the pith instruction? When asked thus, the Teacher addressed the assembly: The method of realization, the essence extracted from the heart, I will explain. Immerse it in the heart of substantially non-existent Zang Ka. Establish it in the unborn. Establish purity from the path itself. The result is also repeated to substantially non-existent Zang Ka. The ground is unborn, beyond expression, without terminology. By no form is a name established. The Great Vehicle has no letters. Complete with all aspects, without aspects, and without example. Various phenomena are liberated without limit. Unborn, self-luminous, without knowledge, without thought. Thus it is said. Carrying Primordial Purity onto the path: Both obscurations, samsara and nirvana, all phenomena are pure from the beginning. All realms are primordially pure, without bias. Awareness, mind, and heart are pure, without grasping or thought. Various phenomena, on the appearance of objects, Awareness, mind, memory, and intellect, to none do you give mind. Without realization, analysis, grasping, or separation. Self-arisen energy is clear, without grasping, thoroughly penetrating. The essence and branches are non-dual, knowledge meets mother and child. Clear and empty, inseparable, like the sky. Spontaneously arising natural clarity, like the sky. Without stain, clear and bright, utterly clear. Self-arisen natural clarity, empty and clear. Clear and pure, self-liberated, the measure of bliss. Self-purifying, self-destroying, without opportunity. From nothing, all arises, the essence is the luminous expanse. Nothing there, everything appears, substantially non-existent variety gathers into one. One and none, without knowledge, all-knowing. All scattered, sler la ga pa. Appearance and emptiness, awareness and emptiness, object and mind, two without emptiness. All arising, all clear, all appearing, all conceived, all groundless. From the palace of the ground of being, the nature of space, Various energy rays dissolve into the expanse of the nature of space. Empty, yet clear, in nature there is no substance whatsoever. Without words to represent, separate from all terminology. Utterly inexpressible, all phenomena are brought to the end. Thus it is said.
