The Jewel Holder said: Emaho, all that appears as Dharma, its essence transcends the realm of objects. That itself is the nature of Bodhichitta, which the wise, if they meditate upon, will realize. Thus spoke the Padma Holder. Emaho, all Dharmas are the nature of mind, without certainty, free from substantial grasping. That itself is the nature of pure wisdom, which the wise, if they meditate upon as they please, will accomplish. Thus spoke the Vajra Cross Holder. Then, the Lord of Supreme Secret said: The state of one's own mind, clear and perfect, is exceedingly excellent. From anywhere in the ten directions of the world, one will not find a Buddha. Realizing the nature of mind is the supreme Buddha. Thus he spoke. From the Great Perfection, All-Good One, the Tantra that reveals the clarity of wisdom, the seventh chapter: The chapter in which the retinue, through blessings, each offer their own level of realization. Then Vajra Holder again asked: Kye Kye, Bhagavan Vajra Holder! Regarding view, meditation, and conduct, what is the order of the fruits? For the yogi who meditates on these, at the time of the signs of death and the intermediate state, what is the order? Please explain it to me. Listen, glorious Vajra Holder. For the sake of future benefit, the meaning you have asked is very wondrous. Listen carefully with reverence and keep it in mind. The fruit is the three kayas and five wisdoms, the Dharmakaya is the union of emptiness and clarity. The Dharmakaya is the Great Bliss Vajra Holder, the Nirmanakaya tames beings in the six realms. Possessing the five wisdoms, possessing the qualities. That itself is one's own mind, it does not come from elsewhere. The order of showing the signs of death: is the sign of the yogi of practice. Earth dissolves into water, the body cannot support itself, cannot stand. When water dissolves into fire, the mouth and nose become dry, the inner radiance is lost. When fire dissolves into wind, the body's warmth is lost and dissipates. When wind dissolves into consciousness, breathing becomes difficult, fear accumulates. At that time, generate mindfulness. Then, when breath ceases, consciousness dissolves into appearances. Appearances dissolve into increase. Increase dissolves into attainment. Attainment dissolves into the Dharmakaya. At that time, the Dharmakaya itself is very clear and cannot be identified. Emptiness-clarity, non-grasping, self-luminous, by seizing its nature, the six superknowledges. Arising from the east, one obtains the supreme power of awareness. The secret instruction

If one abides in this, then one abides in the Buddha-ground. The fourteen places are also universally trampled upon, it is the supreme path without traveling. If emptiness and clarity are not grasped, and movement arises, then in the six realms, one takes a body by one's own karma, and samsara has no end. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the All-Good One, the Manifestation of Primordial Awareness, the eighth chapter, which reveals the death signs of future yogis. Then, again, Vajradhara asked: Kye! Kye! Lord of the Supreme Secret Vajra, that wisdom of emptiness-clarity-awareness, if grasped by characteristics, how should it be grasped? And where should one practice it? Thus he asked. The Bhagavan, Lord of Secrets, replied: That great emptiness-clarity-awareness, should be grasped from the perspective of the two alayas. The alaya of the primordial meaning, and the alaya of the combining conditions, are present in all sentient beings. The habitual tendencies of the past, and the afflictive thoughts of the future, are like earth and water mixed together, like becoming turbid. Those three are mixed with the Dharmakaya, but now it is not the Dharmakaya. That alaya of meaning, is like water becoming clear from turbidity. That wisdom unpolluted by habitual tendencies, thoughts, and afflictions, has no pain of non-realization. The self-arisen Dharmakaya without grasping, by releasing the self-nature of awareness, on the clarity and bliss of awareness, there is no pain of clinging to realization. In a solitary place, divide the sessions, and first only meditate on that. When naturally abiding in that, the five senses are clear and without grasping. Abide in that nature. Then, when it becomes stable, the essence of all objects, appears like a vague, dim appearance. Just abiding in that nature, is the yoga that can overcome everything, what is there to meditate on? If the movement of wisdom is not grasped, even if one meditates, how can it become meditation? When self-meditation arises without meditating, it is meditation without meditation. When that becomes conviction, it is seeing without seeing. When that abides in its nature, it is action without action. If it becomes like that, it is Buddhahood. Thus it is said. From the Tantra of the Great Perfection, the All-Good One, the Manifestation of Primordial Awareness, the ninth chapter, which identifies wisdom. Then, again, listen to another explanation! Practice that.
