Praise to the Garland of Speech Letters Praise to the Garland of Speech Letters Praise to the Garland of Speech Letters, a cluster of four hanging down. Praise to the Garland of Speech Letters of the Teacher, the Sugata, called the Hanging Cluster of Kumuda. Homage to the glorious goddess Saraswati! A bottomless ocean of lapis lazuli nectar, A wish-fulfilling jewel that drips the sweet essence of existence, An unrivaled daughter of the joyful gods, May you reside in my heart like Mount Kailash. 1 Whatever form is written by the doer of good deeds, The basis of names and words that show the meaning expressed by the assembly, The one who definitely holds the Dharma realm of the Victorious Ones in existence, With the unchanging certainty of name, may you hold firm. 2 The form that clarifies the appearance of the body that cannot be spoken of, The sixteen vowels that hold the life of speech, Whatever exists as the reality of the collected knowledge, You are not there, saying more than silence. 3 Writing indicates the direction of things as a path, Dwelling, indicating the ornament that distinguishes the head and body, Speaking, the thing of name that is difficult to grasp, Scholars say that this form dwells first. 4 Unmixed, pervading all as the life of speech, Mixed, like water into water, of the same nature, Among the vowels, holding the first rank of the lineage, This form is especially pleasing with the same name. 5 Even if it becomes a guide to the dissimilar, without anger, One form, extending the long thread of life, Whatever vowel proceeds to noble speech, In the assembly of scholars, it resides with a connecting name. 6 Whatever speech proceeds from the heart, Having made a portion of the share of olfactory perception, It resides as the object of speech with the name of 'I-sound', In shape like the circle of the full moon. 7 Although not the sword of a sharpened hero, But divided by name alone, Although you are born in the body of lifeless soil, If destroyed, it also becomes compliant to others. 8 Unborn, proceeding slowly, is its own path, The action of the obstructing tongue and lips is not great, Relaxed, in the path of the throat, the tone is excellent, Whatever exists is the group of Ka. 9 Although it is indeed the call of the moving breath, But dwelling in the place, it is like the sound of a drum, Well-born from the cause urged by the doer, Such certainty does not surpass the group of Tsa. 10 Noble common

Falling and trembling from "bo". Speech emerges from the encounter with life. You rely on the words of the wise men of the sacred land (India). The "ṭa" group exists as if in anger in Tibet (Bhoṭa). 11 The speaker is born from the top like the light of the moon. The expression is made by the life of the wind's movement. It is difficult to change the flickering with the color of eye medicine. All the words that can be expressed are the "ta" group. 12 Like a child folding the upward petals of a lotus. Are you the brother of the coming moon? Why are you so angry at the movement of breath? The "sa" group is born from heavy lips. 13 It is not fire produced by rubbing, But from the warm, slowly coming breath. The place of birth and the function of the elements are different, The consistent combination of the same kind is "śa ṣa sa". 14 Because of pride, it does not approach the first row, Some are like being able to express but losing life. The first pleasant laughter comes, The last four sounds are in a low position. 15 The smallest of the fifty perfect letter brothers, It should be negated to indicate change and exhaustion. Becoming the collector of the final collection, It is also half of the name of the letter. 16 Holding the function of cutting with a sword, It is an arrow represented by a long line. Cutting off the row of happiness expressed in poetry, The boundary between the unspeakable and the speakable is cut off by "śad". 17 In short, the form of expression is fifty, In detail, it is the noun of endless knowledge. Appearing in many transformations in shape, This is only the blessing of the speech of the Able One (Shakyamuni). 18 Who is looking for the light of the path to liberation, Who has obtained the lamp of peace, Then by this path of giving, How to give others the things of knowledge? 19 In reality, it is not a characteristic, Just appearing, it is the eye of the good fortune of the fortunate. The truth of the well-spoken teachings like the sea, Now it also appears as the sound of speech letters. 20 The unborn nature is the letter "A" (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:无), The ultimate truth is beyond the realm of elaboration. Becoming the basis for the manifestation of the miracle of birth, Although unspeakable, it is the basis of all speech. 21 Even if it is difficult to count in the kalpas of dust, Habit becomes nature, only good deeds. From that kind of birth place, from the wonderful vase of the neck, The speech of the Able One (Shakyamuni) is also the sound of letters.
